Myofibrills will allow my scout to assassinate with his cloak, because you keep the cloak equipped. Just need to pay attention so that it doesn't dip below 50% before my attack.
Also, I will spec into cloaked Commando. |

I played enough Crysis 2 MP to see how cheap it is,and there is the same potential for it here.Maybe I'm wrong, but I get the feeling that the cloak is going to produce more QQ threads than the RRs. You can introduce anything to get QQ. You can give them a perfectly balanced weapon or the ability to change your weapon color and they will QQ. This fanbase is all about whining and misinformation.
I didn't play Crysis 2 MP, but the Crysis 3 version was decently implemented. However, the "strong shimmer" state was way too common. And don't forget that Crysis uses dynamic cloak. You have a few seconds of cloaking time and can activate and deactivate the cloak with split-second reaction. Using the cloak badly (by being a dumbfuck who fires from cloak) easily costs you all of your cloak energy. Meanwhile, the Dust cloak is a very static system. You push a button and then you are invisible for a while. Any dynamic tactics will **** with your interface, except for maybe melee + recloak. You also have at least thirty seconds of cloak, in contrast to the constantly changing drain in Crysis (Which caps out at about a minute while standing still). Plus, Dust has far bigger maps than Crysis 3.
The real question is how hard the cloak is to see with low shimmer. High shimmer will probably be way too obvious. Other than that, it seems very gimped and situational, in contrast to the Crysis and Planetside approach. |

Also, I will spec into cloaked Commando. CCP confirmed that melee will break cloak. That was kind of the implication of my stated course of action. That's why I talked about the 50% threshold.
Yes, you uncloak. And then you can instantly mash the button again because melee doesn't magically put your rifle in your hands. You still have the cloak, which will react to your input without the selection wheel. |

Exept crysis 2 ttk wasnt as high, and everyone xould use it, any time right after killing... Crysis 3 had an insanely low TTK, but it was still fun to use.
However, Dust TTK is actually very high. It's only an issue because of the dual-analog setup, as opposed to mouse controls.
Edit: Disregard post if I understood your post wrongly. TTK high/low is kind of confusing.
