The Amarr Scout is still getting constant hardship from non-scout players I'm hoping it works out, but I have no way to be sure until I spec into it I've seen some very good points made on both sides, compared to Gallente scout it seems lame But there is the fault, it should be compared to Matari Scout not the Gallente
Gallente/Caldari Scouts fill a Hide/Seek role Matari/Amarr Scouts fill a combat role CQC/Range
Matari will be the better suit in CQC, but how much does that count in battle Unless you are stalking the inner city areas it is not much help ... Whereas the Amarr Scout will be able to traverse the Battlefield pretty well While not being as good in CQC it will have the range advantage, higher HP After 1.8 we will see how all the Scouts function, so save criticism til then They may or may not be balanced, we have no way to know until we fight in them So let actual scouts test out the stamina bonus, trust me if it fails I'll be complaining too
The Amarr Scout bonus suits speed tankers quite well ... let us try it before QQ If you want a bonus to Clipsize/DMG, see the Assault/Commando suits ....

Can you read? It's not a difficult post ...... It should be compared to the Matari, not the Gallente
The Gallente/Caldari are clearly going for the EWAR role Where the Matari/Amarr are designed for combat and yes I saw his thread I was impressed that CCP lined up the Armour based Scouts nicely ....

So your saying in other classes there is no clear favorites?? If we make every suit do the same thing, what is the point in specializing
As I have said, the Amarr Scout may or may not work we will see But players running Heavy suits/Slayer suits need to let Scouts test it out Not every role in battle is about EZ mode killing, god forbid CCP actually provide A variety of roles with a degree of balance, but in Dust there will always be a counter So for that reason certain things will never be balanced when compared

Arguably Amarr could be more focused on ferroscale plates than Min, if they want to make a suit that's combat oriented rather than putting kin cats on it. Whereas Min will need those kin cats even in a combat situation.
This is coming from someone who isn't a scout.
The Faster movement, along with the knives make the Matari better in CQC That is provided you get within melee distance, which is not always easy
Once 1.8 hits, we'll see how close the contest is

With a decent HP and high stamina, this suit will be tough.... Regardless of fighting style, it has 6 module slots and the highest stamina
