You must not play Eve. :P
The truth is that the Eve guys in Tso's are actually thrilled that Kain stabbed us in the back (and we all knew it was coming anyway). Most of us were extremely unhappy with being paid in Monopoly-Money to orbit beacons for hours on end when they usually weren't resulting in any interesting fights. The Eve guys were getting nothing out of our relationship with Kain, and a lot of us were so frustrated because of it that it was reaching the point where whenever C00kie logged onto comms he was bombarded with a dozen people asking "Can we shoot NF yet?".

Considering NF has the whole of... 2 pilots... what? They wanted to shoot up 2 people that badly they'd throw there Dust side under the bus? You can blame CCP for not giving Eve players any reason to care about Dust.

This right here is a perfect example of the terrible attitude that Tso's Eve side has towards Dust. Dust ISK is "Monopoly money" and being the primary source of district sat content was a seen as a hassle. Just know if you are on the ground working with Tso above they aren't looking down on you just because they are in space. Ivar +1 dude. I think you are right the culture clash was going to be the eventual undoing of the relationship. I mean if the attitude if most of the guys in space is that a Dusters are a burden and not content providers it's not going to work out in the long run. From the perspective of an average Eve player, give me one benefit to owning districts in Dust. We're expected to drop everything we'd rather be doing at the whim of Dust players and orbit beacons all day, and what do we get in return? It's a one-way relationship. We are vital to you winning matches, but you are useless to us.
You see, the disconnect between Eve players and Dust players is entirely CCP's fault. If CCP created a stronger, mutually-beneficial link between the two games, Eve players would be more motivated to fight over districts.

I tried to make it work for you guys as best as I could. We didn't hate the contracts in the beginning. The shift in attitude happened pretty suddenly in the last two or three weeks of the contracts, mainly due to burnout and a lack of action happening at the beacons. C00kie was just trying to make everyone on our side and yours happy. It wasn't his fault that it really wasn't possible to make everyone happy at once.
For those of you looking to see General Tso's collapse, I'm sorry to inform you that it will not be happening anytime soon. We have a very strong Eve backbone in Tso's which just celebrated its 5th anniversary at the beginning of March. It's more likely that all of you reading this will quit Dust before General Tso's stops existing in Eve. And our Eve backbone will always be here to prop up our Dust guys, even when they are losing.
Also, when I joined the Dust forums last night I told C00kie I was only doing it to create a diplomatic mess for him to sort out. How am I doing?
