have extenders and repairs as high slots, rechargers regulators and plates as low slots...dmg mods can go either side, a good compromise. |

It's sad to see the vast percentage of the community stuck in the same line of thinking. Their are more modules then just HP and Damage. If people would branch off and use them, the game would be more tactical and dynamic. But nope, the players just want to tank HP and deal out damage. To sacrifice a slot to do anything else is considered to risky. It stems from the CoD mentality.
When do you ever see a player with one different type of module in each slot, let alone on one side or the other. My Caldari Assault has a Regulator, Armor Rep and a Plate. Sometimes I switch the Regulator out for a Codebreaker, Dampener, or Kin-kat. A good one I like is Two dampeners and a Codebreaker.
Players should be making more use of their slots. This is why the Gal Assault Logi was completely annoying. Just stack armor on the low and damage on the high... The Caldari Logi is so popular because it has the room for Shields, Armor, and Damage mods
With TTK getting extended in 1.8(not by much) I hope we see more than just the same ole fit. Heck, even Scouts sometimes have more HP than I do. Hopefully the damage mod nerf makes people realize that high-slots are for more than just extenders and damage mods.
energizers and recharges are amazing. Precision enhancers are great too, but gosh forbid you diversify from tanked out damage dealer... People are crutching skill with dropsuit builds.
I look at top players in this game, and they all have the same thing in common, they diversify their modules. They don't just build a dropsuit to win gunfights- they rely on their actual gun skill to do that.

I disagree. We do need more high slot modules though.
You have long since made your choice. What you make now is a mistake.

This suit of mine uses a precision mod, dampner and codebreaker. Just look how effective it can be.

As a minlogi, I would like to armor tank with armor repairs in high slots, that way I can keep up heavies and armor tanked mediums and be self sustaining. If I am not logi bro'ing, I shield tank with codebreakers and kin cats. I think the change would lessen the dual tanking, OP weapon fits. |

I've thought about this a lot recently and have sat in the fitting screen for hours this past week looking at how to make the "most" effective suit for my playstyle. I dont know if its just my crappy luck with this game but most pub matches i jump into for solo runs its a complete stomp on my team.
With this mind set, it seems for me to obviously go for those HP and DMG mods over any other mod just because of continual situations. We make suits for our most common playstyle and from our own experiences. It seems from your statements that the "Majority" keep running into these exact same problems as well and all react in the same manner.
I do have suits with other modules and loadouts for fun runs or when i'm in a sqd of friends, but theyre all basic or MLT tier because I know that either right before i get what I want accomplished or right after, I'll be killed immediately.
Hope that explains a bit to your own one track thinking and that youre way is not the "ONLY" way. In a community where a majority of people are somehow and inexplicably saying the same things... well, maybe theres a reason for it.
We live in a sea of chaos dotted by islands of perfection.

Yea, my callogi has 4 complex shield extenders, and an enhanced shield energized in the highs. In the lows I have 3 CPU Boosters (don't have enough sp into core skills ), and an advanced codebreaker. Most people don't realize just how good some of those other modules are.

GOOD GOD That's a a lot of assists! The selfish killwhore in me would scuff at missing the opportunity at a 40kill, lol. But yes, a great example of versatility.

I was messing around with my dren scout earlier, went 20-2 with an enhanced shield extender, pro kin cat, enhanced dampener, dren shotgun, syndicate smg, and remotes; you do not need HP, you need speed. |

No. They can already do that Triage hive spam. Good for them, I prefer to be more mobile. My point still stands. They'll have more health and repair more with no compromise. Why the semantics?

Right now I can do that with 25% damage bonus.
With these changes all I'd get is the HP.
I would prefer that reactives went in high slots or something, though.

Where'd you get 27 from?
Even including current bonuses it'd come to 23.75.
