That is insufficient to destroy any HAV in a single hit. With the 1.8 changes top proficiency and damage mods, we will see even tougher HAVs. I speak as an ADS pilot: the 1.8 changes will make vehicles nigh unkillable unless a vehicle tweak is introduced.

A strike to the rear weak spot of a unfitted Soma is possible to one shot with a Proto Breach.... but that situation is by no means optimal and can't be relied upon in true AV/Tank combat .

This. It is unbelievably hard to pull off on a regular basis. Honestly getting hit with a FG should mean the tank is going for a tumble if not disabled outright. It fires a kinetic slug at 7000m/s, meaning Sir Isaac Newton himself would tell you that it is the deadliest fothermucking piece of infantry armament this side of Molden Heath.
