I am usually one of the whiney punks, rightfully picking apart "events" on Dust514. This time CCP have done themselves proud here.
Community:
Lots of happy excited players.
Lots of death
Higher than average logged on and PLAYING.
Happy with updates from CCP on deathtoll.
CCP:
Excellent business, making money..wisely
Updating playerbase on deathtoll, Official interaction is always great for morale
willing to boost event due to how savage we are(lets see COD boost event prizes because players are excelling)
Altogether this ones a win, prizes are great for every one, purchasing from CCP is worthwhile in this circumstance.Gunna be a hardone to follow but with 1.8 comming, they couldn't have done it better.

And just a small suggestion for the next event.
Make for such events the booster rules clear and simple.
Like:
Have between day A xx:xx o'clock UTC and day B yy:yy o'clock a booster running and it counts.
The highest booster in that period counts.
If that is not possible due to reckognizing player booster is not easy, make an hourly check.
This decrease the panic mail income you have to answer. ...maybe ;)
Also I would remove additional clauses like: you have to login 10 times. Why?
I think everyone tries to help.
And imagine you were in vacation and you come back.
Sad face, because someone missed that cool event.
Or happy face because he benefits from community work.
It is up to you.
I think lesser event (that are more rewarding and enjoyable) are prefered from anyone :)

I like the play 10 matches clause TBO, from CCP's point of view the perfect event should get people playing, and make some money if possible.
Asking people to actually play is fine by me
