Like they are still gonna wreck armour based suits since they can maybe only get 300 shields and the prof bonus will still ruin armour. While shield dmg weapons will get through 500+shields and still have to deal with 450+armour on a shield based suit?
Or is this going to be ignored?

Beck Weathers wrote:Armor tanking suits are like armor tanking Tanks, If your in an armor tanking suit and your shields get waisted you usualy have time to dive out of the way or react, because the shields you dont give two hoots about gave you a buffer warning, now if a shield tankers gets suprised and his shields get waisted, hes going to die a second later because his armor buffer is likely not going to be enough to make it to cover.
Also armor just has higher HP Your semi right, except most shield dropsuits run armour plates, so they get tons of ehp with a nice buffer.
Now if armour based suit got a extra 100-200 armour point, then it would be the same, but nope.

Well with the damage mod nerf im expecting to see allot of armor tankers with shield extenders from now on It's either that or dmg mods, honestly they are the only 2 options for a armour tanker. I'm hoping precision mods get a small buff so I can at least pick up heavies.
But really, even if I put 1-3 complex extenders on my suit, I can only get 220-360 shields on my suit and around 477-504 armour without gimping my suit. A shield suit can get 400 shields and 400 armour easily with slots to spare.
