I can't believe this!
I REALLY just cannot believe this!
My life is a lie! A complete and utter, lie! There is no point in living now -- I'm off to rob a bank, punch a pregnant woman, and shoot as much heroine as possible! WHAAAAA!!!!! WHAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!
Seriously - would you babbies just play the damn thing first before crying about it? A scout that can run for a damn long time, doesn't show up on radar, can fit a cloak easier than other classes, and has a bit more HP. Looks fair on paper. Just wait to play it before crying. It isn't as if you AREN'T allowed to add modules to it or some crap. That's your stamina module and Armor plate module. Just try it. Jeeze.

I'll make YOU a deal: Shut up and quit complaining about something that hasn't been proven to not work until you at least try it one single time. I have a scout fit that runs with cardio regs and an armor repairer - it does just fine. I just went 24 and 8 with it before typing this.
Chill out.

If you don't know what a babby is, then you are the babby, - and clearly new to the internet. I bet you're maybe 16 years old, max. How's high school? Kiss any girls yet?

So you want ME to sink the SP into it just to use it one single time? ...And then I'm allowed to whine? I really wanted to spec into it since Fanfest 2013, but there's no way I'm sinking SP into that turd of a suit.
I don't care what you do, just stop complaining that something is weak until you've even used it in battle. Do you not see how ridiculous the whole notion is? Just TRY it first.
Given that Amarr scouts will have more HP and ability to run people down - what scout do you think is going to win if the Amarr scouts meets any other scout one on one? Even if other scouts try to run away, if you put just one Kin cat on your A-Scout, you'll be able to stick right on them and take them out, russian snuff film style.
It's like you aren't even trying to strategize. You guys seriously just can not get over having stamina. Think beyond that for just a minute dude, seriously.

In order to try the damn thing, it's going to cost millions of SP. I don't need to spend that to tell you how terrible it is compared to the other scouts. People have done the math, the suit is a joke, and it's sad because many of us were looking forward to using it.
No, I don't. That goes against my survival instinct. I already know that fecal matter is unhealthy and toxic. As humans we know this instinctively, over millions and millions of years. It's not like fecal matter is about to finally be released in ten days. I get what you are trying to get at, but you're doing it poorly and it simply does not work in this case. That was a sh*tty analogy on your part (pun definitely intended).
It's clear now that you have no real argument and can't think of a good point. It is not going to cost "millions of SP". Calm down, babby.

If your smart enough to have all your core skills at five:
Your new stats are:
429.25 CPU
88.375 pg
75 base shields
212.5 armor
287.5 ehp
Haven't even fitted one mod = PRICELESS!
1 shield an 1 plate is gonna more HP than most scouts are used to ever needing, percision , range , profile damp, red and a complex reactive is gonna give you everything you will ever need on a scout at the same time!
Suits frigging BOSS! If you're going to go the "light assault route" and plate it out (which itself is a questionable decision), you'd be much better off with a Gallente scout. It will be just as effective, has built-in reps saving you a slot, is faster, jumps higher, more agile, better damps, has a great scan radius giving you excellent situational awareness, and it even beats out the Amarr scout in a marathon race. All this for the cost of 30hp. Alternatively, you could go Minmatarr Assault, have more HP and still be faster and more agile.
Dude, give it up. All your points are ridiculous. You have the debating skills of a child. Gallente won't be just as effective as the amarr scout trying to be assault because it has less HP and less room to fit things. What good is 3 hp a second if you are ****ing dead? 3hp/s is only good if you manage to live. Amarr is more likely to live. It doesn't have as much stamina or regen, or as much HP - costing you two slots, so your argument is invalid.
Jumps higher? Where'd you get that from? What the **** lol Is faster AND more agile, huh? Care to explain what that means? Better damps and range - Ever heard of modules? Plus you already have better ragne and damps than any other class. Beats amarr in a marathon race - You make it sound like you move as slow as a heavy. You'll move fine and be able to cover more ground while other scouts are gasping for air. One on one, it really will kill any scout it meets.

Lol, you're sooooo petty. Kid, I'm in the military. You're going to need to try a lot harder to make me upset over some video game forum lol. I don't think you get how not mad I am. Besides, what kind of pathetic no life actually gets entertainment out of the sadness (in this case, perceived sadness) of others? Only sad, little kids with no control in their own life would talk like that. In all seriousness, I think you have a social disorder to be misunderstanding the situation like this. You ever been told you have aspergers? You talk like you do so you may want to look into it.
You're probably just talking like that to look cool and "edgy", albeit cliche. I dunno. What do you think? Do you think that you have a normal, healthy mind?

Summ Dude wrote:I think you might be misunderstanding a few things Asher. While I can see the merit of the "wait and see" approach, that doesn't mean you can't compare existing numbers side by side. Look at all of the racial Scout bonuses. In addition to being by far the most uninteresting bonus (in my opinion at least) , the Amarr Scout's bonus is also simply less overall beneficial than the others. As has been pointed out many times already, when maxed out, the Amarr Scout's bonus is equal to less than a Militia Cardiac Regulator. Nothing about that really encourages me to spec into this suit. Not to mention that it's the only Scout that really only gets one bonus, while the others get two.
As for it's extra HP, yes, it has that. Because it's an Amarr suit. Same reason it's the slowest, with the highest stamina, and more armor than shields. These are all traits of all Amarr suits, and are already balanced against the other suits' racial conventions, as is the norm. This is in no way an acceptable excuse for the subpar bonus. Hopefully that all made sense.
That does make sense, but at the same time, though it might not be as scouty as others, maybe it doesn't need to be? The amarr scout can easily be closer to the fight than other scouts, and has the stamina to keep flanking, plus it's a scout, so it won't be noticed as easily. The HP boost might not look like much but I can't tell you how many times I almost killed an enemy but got taken out right as his HP was at 0/0 (literally, and he still kills me and lives) or close to it. If I had the HP of an A-scout, I would have lived.
How many people in this topic think the A-Scout will suck and actually play as scouts right now? You all talk as if you have never even rolled a scout, whereas I myself have only played this game as a scout, except for a handful of experimental battles with militia armors.
