MLT vs MLT is the death farm. Proto vs MLT just means one stomped team and one team with barely a scratch.
Every time an extra armour plate or damage mod has saved your skin, is one more clone you could have contributed.
Tell me: how many matches have you stomped through today, in which your team lost hardly any clones?

In fact MLT vs MLT would actually be slower in accumulating killed clones than a Proto vs MLT. MLT vs MLT is no different than Miguel Cotto vs Miguel Cotto.
Both sides die quicker in MLT gear.
It's not better to go 40/1 protostomping when you would have gone 35/10 in militia gear.
