Me. I'm always broke, I'm skilled into advanced & complex stuff but can't use it. kd/r ranges from 1.4 to 1.8
ok so what would be the best mode to make money for someone in the situation of:
1. doesn't play 24/7 - plays 2-5 matches every other day(depending on how bad/good it goes) 2. doesn't always like to join a talkative group and talk on mic. 3. usually plays assault or 'frontline class' / / Rifles. 4. doesn't really snipe 5. not into vehicles really, atleast not yet.
I try ambush, keep in mind I'm broke as F- so I'm using skinweave suit and fitting whatever I can on there while still trying to make a profit in ISK. I'm not doing great, but ambush I die a lot unless in a good situation with help.
Skirmish I gave up on, people usually join that in a strategic group, leaving a lone-fronliner to be sloughtered.
Domination: I was thinking domination might be best maybe I'm wrong. most of the regular matches I've been in there's barely any team on the field and I'm playing, trying to get things done and win.
- I Understand it's easyer to make money when you're in some big social group, what about the lone people. This is more group vs group. I feel like I have no chance as a frontline lone rifleman. Don't say HTFU .. I can't even adapt up in gear b.c I'm broke. I Can't make a **** ton of ISK because I'm not a King-social in a corp. Makes me wonder if there might be some pve aspect to this. or bountys something like that. Oh well, -
-So for basic modes, skirmish, ambush, domination, which is best for making ISK in my situation? Thanks.

I personally find it challenging to create a fit that I can make money in. I could run proto stuff, but might not make money.
I have found after practice I can now take on proto suits, with a combo of std and adv gear, and get kills, despite being a 200 ehp scout.
If you are really short on isk, make some militia suits that you can burn through. You might not get a high kdr, but if you are looking for that in this game, you might need to wait until you get 20mil SP to be able.
Otherwise, take note of what kills you, and the circumstances, and use your SP and modules to shore up weakness. Maybe you will hit on something that you are successful doing and can gain isk.

If you want to maximize ISK creation, your best bet is ambush games -- no question. As you've already found out, your KDR will suffer, but it will allow you to make money as long as you keep your cost per death low (or zero). |

Run starter fits for a week or two, your game will improve and you will make ISK all day.
Don't run anything prototype. The prototype suits are much better than advanced but few other things follow the percentage increase like a suit. Most modules and weapons aren't that much better and to me the increase in performance doesn't justify the increase in price. I run advanced suits with advanced mods and BPO weapons and I get by, if I were a better shot then it would be no problem at all. My kdr is 0.65 and the only proto item I use is a tool.

The best mode for making ISK is Planetary Conquest. Provided that you ring as a mercenary for hire.
I generally ask for 1 Million ISK for each PC battle that I take part in.
You can easily rack up 5+ Million a day.
Ruin.
Weekly PC battles; even though ninety percent of Molden Heath is locked.
36 million ISK battle coins are fun.

Deactivate team voice Select Domination Use cheap uplinks (if skilled) or use your cheapest fit (MLT) Hack everything that you can Pop and Drop strategy (good for MLT fits, use them hills and cover) Let the ISK rack up
It's best to play Dom with MLT fits or the cheapest MLT fit you can muster. Ambush, while seemingly a good way to make money, is too overrun by tanks and proto fits. Unless you're extremely disciplined (or want to get disciplined), you won't have a good time and will be at the bottom of the leaderboards.

Oh and I just want to repeat what The Robot Devil said, cause its real good advice. Run MLT fits for a week or two and watch your game improve. It's good to do for you learn about cover, discipline, when to fight and when not to, aiming and such. Running MLT fits is good practice. It's a humbling learning experience. Before you know it, you will be killing in MLT fits. And just imagine when you turn your attention to adv and up.

Same here, been playing for almost 2 years and I have only had one protosuit and it was back in chrome. If you can't do it in an advanced suit then you probably can't do it.

I don't use a mic, running solo a lot, but I've taken to joining random squads in each match. As has been said free suits are the best way to make money & frankly I almost always come out with a positive KDR (not that it really makes a difference.) As for game modes, if you know what you're doing you can still make the best out of a Skirmish, I personally run all 3 at random.
Another easy way to pull some cash is to build yourself a tank, even with all militia stuff you can be viable & grab points blowing the enemies stuff up... As a pilot I love it when someone else wants to take out the enemies turrets (but no one ever does.)
If you haven't already, it's a good idea to learn the maps so you can have a plan before it starts. |

Thank you Derpty Derp. - I honestly prefer skirmish with the multiple capture points. But bringing a team with you probly works out the best in this mode. I do also join squads when I enter battle. I haven't tried squad finder yet. |

Really? Cause I thought with tanks and prototypes involved, you can stand to lose more than gain. Especially if you're playing solo. I play it sometimes but I find the money maker (for me at least) is in Domination. Have a real good round plus with assets destroyed and you're bound to get a better payout than ambush can offer you
