first 3 matches I play and the enemy team is maxed out in tanks. Minimum of 5 tanks at all times. In a domination, and it's all different squads.
This is what this event will be, great, I don't know why I expected any less.

So far I haven't been killed by anything that wasn't proto weapon and suit, or tanks... running a bpo suit with militia stuff.
A bit sad, but I don't care much for my k/d, so whatever :D |

Havent been able to get on yet but I was anticipating an even heavier tank
spam for the next 3 days...

Proto kills faster than anything else.
Therefore, using Proto for this event is the smart thing to do.

I'm going to have to go ahead and disagree with you on that one, OK? When we play with proto squads, the matches run down to the timer and more frequently end with clones remaining. Your plan to 'kill more' will more likely end in a stalemate, unless you're just slaughtering n00bs.

Except proto also dies harder. If everyone runs proto we don't hit our goal. The funny thing about KDR whores is the only people they impress with their beloved stat is themselves and other douchbags like them. So don't worry about it.
I'm running BPO stuff most of the weekend. I don't care about my KDR. I'm looking to get a couple million SP and a bunch of ISK out of this weekend for all the new shiny commando suits I have to buy on the 25th 
Most tankers are like sand people. They frighten easily, but will quickly return...and in greater numbers.

Sad thing is that more people are copying Duna's playstyle. The saddest thing is most time they don't need such firepower like 6 tanks.
Yesterday defeat against Necromongers plus some of their friends. Five tanks and 3 ADSes. Saw one blueberry calling rail tank and second bb dropping links on highground. All the rest could die only... |

Well, I'm at 15 matches, 2 relatively balanced, all the rest were fairly hard proto stomp.
Weirdly enough, I fairly certain I got killed equally by officier weapon and militia ones O_0 |

Everyone benefits if more clones die, but individuals benefit more if they abstain from dying and let everyone else do that for them.
Thus the opportunist will go proto/tank in hopes of killing wave after wave of lemmings. The result of course Is that most players will resent that attitude and go proto too. Killing tapers off and timers end most matches.
It's human nature, and who honestly expected any less based on what we know of the proto stompers? |

My money is on the bet that we get half the normal clone kill this weekend.
Those folk willing to both kill and die allot will run up against those who want to take advantage of them. They will go hard to kill too, or get disgusted and quit playing for the duration of the event.
I suppose it was foolhardy to expect cooperation from an FPS community. |

Not when one side still has 100 clones on the table at the end of the match, the goal is to use up all clones every match, not protostomp to victory leaving many clones unterminated.
