 Has this topic come up before? I'm finally getting remote explosives (wee!), and was reflecting on how all other weapon types (heavy, automatic rifles, pistols, eventually SRs and NKs, etc.) either already have or are planned to have racial variants, but, ATM at least, this is not the case with explosives.
 
 What do players think of requiring each type of explosive to have its own skill and be race-specific? For example, Minmatar get REs, Amarr get flux, and... well, I'm not exactly sure about the proper way to assign an explosive to a race and still adhere to lore, but hopefully you catch my drift.
 
 If only explosives hadn't been nerfed (-1 carry count depending on type) and a suit or to had been given additional grenade slots...

 Remotes and grenades are minmatar and AV caldari and Flux grenades are amarr i think.

 Explosions are the Minmatar specialty.
 
 I doubt we'll be getting racial variants any more than we'll be getting an Amarr scanner.

 Yeah, I that's what I thought--but it's interesting that it's not required to skill into each individually, like all other weapons. Eg, ARs (Gallente) and RRs (Caldari), SMGs (Minmatar) and Scrambler Pistols (Amarr).

 In Templar One the Amarr had Flayer Mines...basically you step on it and get skinned alive, suit and all.

 Maybe in future, but for now its fine.
