A FULL respec is really necessary due to the fact that there are not only changes in suit command, there are also changes in weapons (buffs and nerfs) and people also now will need other equipment and upgrades because of the new suits. So don't be satisfied with this partial respec, because there's no reason why CCP shouldn't do a full respec (except they want us to be forced to buy boosters). Just open new topics about this, make this public, so CCP sees that this is not acceptable (although I have to say that this partial respec is still better than no respec at all).

Basicaly full is needed.
Whe we should have just suit, if weapons are same story?!
We have racial suits and weapons, not only suits.
And during new bonuses and implements there should be a chance for full.

Equipment, Weapons and passive skills will ALWAYS be useful for the extent that DUST 514 exists. And we will keep getting new weapons, modules and probably passive skills for the extent of DUST...
Was there gonna be some people after dropsuit changes that would never really use that suit again? hell yea...
But wanting every skill RESPEC-ialized for 1.8... 9 months into the game... Gaining SP, ISK and peer status Off those skills and items.. And now all of a sudden they are useless? is a selfish argument.. Without much merit.
Everyone who knew this understood the best we could hope for was a Skill reimbursal for dropsuit changes. Not a Respecialization.... or Respec. Best to get Refund or Reimbursal in Your peoples brains... Because Respecializations are the way of the Dodo bird in DUST 514. |

It's been known for months that new suits were coming. It's literally the player's fault for not saving SP for something that he or she would like in the future. The sheer fact that we're even getting a dropsuit respec was even expected by the older players to happen. The only people complaining are really those that squandered not only all the SP events that have been going on (none of which I took part in, by the way, since I'm already sitting on vast SP), but also the forewarning of the veterans to always prepare.

Yeah, it's completely asinine that they aren't going with a full infantry respec but they wouldn't be CCP if they had a patch without doing something completely asinine.

Ohhhhh yes whine about the fact you op'ed the rail rifle and it was toned down... like it was not written in big letters in the sky... no seriously there is not a full change on how gun mechanics work, you just want to have the latest killing thingy FOTM, screw you guys seriously... think ahead next time, they probably roll unbalanced guns on purpose so people spend their SP and have short term goals... see now you have new short term goal... get the new op'ed weapon FOTM...

Maybe there will be a full respec when they've released all dropsuits, weapons, everything for this game.
But by the time they do it, it's when everyone here already has x billion SP or more, including new players in the future.

Full respec of all skills is not necessary. Only for the dropsuits and weapons since those seem to have the most excuse for needing an SP refund for those skill alone.
But then I realized that the dropsuit refund might be all that's needed due to the coming million clone event where those without boosters will earn a hefty 1 million FREE SP. That's enough to spec into a new weapon. That's 1 million in 3 days. Think about that.

Imma petition CCP for a full respec because with Rubicon 1.3 my thorax didn't get much love but the moa looks pretty good now. Better get my armor skills and gallente ship skills refunded so I can spec Caldari and shields.

FFS buffs and nerfs DO NOT warrant respecs. The roles and features of suits changed, that's why we got the dropsuit respec.
That's all CCP was obliged to do, and all we were entitled to.
If you pick a weapon because it's OP, then you deserve to live with it post-nerf.
If you pick a weapon because it fulfiils a role on the field, then only if & when that role is changed should you be entitled to a refund of that SP.
Everything else is just a shameless attempt at a respec for no other reason than wanting one.

Weapon and Mods skilling should not define your play style, but merely augment it. Whereas, the dropsuit is the core the foundation of your role, play style, and contribution to your team.
