So there is the normal booster and the Omega Booster (+100%)
If i would have like 300.000 bonus points to get (that i would get by playing all week with a normal booster) why would i ge the omega booster, since i dont even have 1mil bonus SP to get.
for the even its even worse.. if i have a normal booster running and we get the 1mil, then i wouldnt get any bonus payout on the event bonus, right? |

if you have a booster running on friday night's down time the event sp will be boosted.
so if you have no booster and cap out you would get 1.2 million sp.
with a standard booster 1.8 mil
with an omega 2.4
so if you are someone that doesn't normally run boosters, an omega will net you 1.2 mil sp, while if you normally run standard boosters it will be netting you 600k |

So just to double check, if I buy an omega booster today and plug it in, sense it will be active during the downtime tomorrow I will get 100% extra what ever the SP pay out from the event is? Has CCP confirmed this, I've never used a booster during an event that gives extra SP at the end, so I dont know if this is all speculation or not. |

i would also like to have someone from confirm that you get the bonus on the event bonus EVEN IF you only have 300,000 bonus SP.
i would buy it today and burn my old bonus and then the next bonus as well + the event bonus. by the way.. when do we get "new normal" bonus? on monday, right? |

Yes it has been confirmed. They will give you the sp from the event and apply the booster to that:
-so 1 mil if we kill 1 million clones
-if you have an active booster, you will net 1.5 mil
-if you have an omega booster, you will net 2 mil, regardless of your remaining bonus sp

So long it as it is active after downtime friday. They will check immediately after downtime and again 6 hours after to check to see if you get it in (since downtime for me is 3AM). That being said, it doesn't have to be turned on on friday, it just still has to be active. You can activate a 3 day booster today and still have it count when they check tomorrow.
If you have an active booster on already and switch it after downtime to an omega, it will pause your active booster and if it is within the 6 hour window of CCP checking, they will take the highest booster and apply its bonus to the pool.

Link to the statement on the 6 hour later check?
I only ask because we have had many debates now on whether the booster has to be activated before down time so that it is in fact active at the start of the event.
