It's going to detract from using extenders slightly as well, so the smart ones won't have an insane amount of shield HP. The best caldari heavy will probably be a balance between extenders and rechargers. So that "instant shield regen" you guys are thinking of isn't so instant if they can only regen a tiny bit of shields per second. Edit: If I recall they only have one or maybe two low slots, which means they can't speed up their 1 second shield regulation very much.
