Just remember, not only do they log what you did to your characters, they also don't actually delete them from the database. The character ID is still in there with all the other stuff, it's just that the name is changed and you can't access it. Note; do not talk about specifics of the exploit.

Yes, the character ID is the database key in the character table, and instead of actually deleting the row and all the data associated with the character, instead they just change something so that it looks like it has been deleted. It is why you can still recover your character beyond the 24 hour period if you were really drunk / girlfriend was being very female, begging to the support staff can work.

I guess enforcing it is the best they can do? make it so characters can't trade till they've completed 30 games out of the academy, they can stlll be given isk but can't give it out. problem solved.

No need for that, just use the same check that is used to see if the player is in the academy... Just needing to play a couple of matches for real is enough to make it not worth the effort.

What they actually do is put your character into a corporation called Doomheim.

You only need to make it less profitable than playing normally, e.g. you have to earn those WP and your main doesn't get the SP.
