I absolutely love my min logi suit. At the advanced level it's easily the most capable suit of all. 3 H 3 L and 3 equipment with 7 m/s.
On the proto level it's easily the 2nd best suit. You can load up on armor and still move like an assault. I rock a proto dampener and still have over 600 armor with about 200 shield and two damage mods with RR and triage nanohives w scanner...
I'm almost as scary as a Gal Logi.
I will be changing suits in 1.8 however. Since I'm losing my hack bonus. |

I know what you guys mean about Min Logi. It's still a dropsuit and it's by no means a slouch. I've killed a lot of people in it.
But I hate being bullied around by suits that are better suited for killing. The logi is a fun way to play but it's not my favorite.
And if you load it up with armor it's still almost as slow as a heavy. That's one of the reasons I don't like it, because I intended to pick the medium suit for a balance between speed and HP. Instead I picked the wrong suit that's better used with kin cats and cardiacs.
To be honest hack speed was always a difficult thing to achieve with the Min Logi. You couldn't hope to be at the objective faster than a scout, especially a good scout. The only real effective way to make use of this is retaking a point that's been hacked, with support from your team, who would mindlessly hack themselves before u get there anyway rendering your ability useless. Don't get me wrong, there have been times where my hack speed was useful, but they were rare. Especially in Planetary Conquest.
I couldn't be happier they're giving the dropsuit respec. I don't even care that much that I'm stuck with my almost fully decked out assault rifle, because at least I can use my Toxin AR and still be a force to be reckoned with.
I would've been miserable for a while, stuck with using a rep tool and being forced to waste my precious SP on it, when I never wanted to use it in the first place. That's why I got proto nanohives and needles. At least then you can just throw it down and forget about it without much maintenance on your part. I'm much happier actually gunfighting in a FPS than being attached to a heavy like a slave and unable to do anything but follow him and dodge enemy fire.
Maybe later on I will skill back into one of the logis, but not for a while. I'd much rather use a scout first, seeing as my level 4 sniper skill isn't being refunded.
Edit: Oh, and by the way, I know 47/14 isn't impressive. That's why I put an angry face and said I'm pushing the limit.  I don't have to be destined to be like my corp mate who follows around heavies with a rep tool, occasionally scans, and winds up going 0/10 with an orbital or two's worth of WP, maybe being lucky enough to be squad lead himself and drop those OBs.

Did you even know logi (Amarr is the exception) don't suppose to be in the front line trying to kill? Just know your place as a logi and you wouldn't have any problems... (I myself hate assault logi with Amarr being the exception) As for your hacking.. that's on your really it works fine for me I don't really see much point in this post but just a bit of trolling. But for PC goes... eh it's overrated :P

Try actually reading the posts in a thread before raging on about things. It makes you look more intelligent. I already wrote:

Well, I know a guy who moved to MinLogi because he mathsed that it was a better armour tanker than his Gal assault, as far as the whole 'assaulting' thing is concerned, and re: hack speeds, I've played enough Amarr FW to know the value of that hack speed increase.
Although YMMV, and apparently does.
On another note, that kind of newbie derp is the reason IMO that you should be forcibly respecced at about 5M. Or something.
Anyway, heavy is fun, have a good time! Just pls don't boast about scores?

But there have been complaints about the speed advantage not being worth the tradeoffs.
<--- Is a minm logi and will remain a minm logi come 1.8. Will soon be a maxed out minm logi moving onto scouts as well. The HP speed trade off came down to one thing for me, it was harder to fit Kins then it was to fit armor plates. I lose probably all my bonus speed to plates but in the end I am still faster then any other logi with the same plates equipped. I change the outcome of games, either by keeping my team alive, supplied and entering the map safely via well placed uplinks. They bring out a tank you will probably see my name next to it if it dies to an infantry AV weapon not named a forge gun. I'll down drop ships with a PLC, I'll do what ever it takes to give my team a chance because I am a logi and that's what we do.
CCP you better nail 1.8, as it stands 1.7 is a total disaster.

There's no doubt it's still going to be a pain in the ass. But seriously the loss of a RoF bonus is really going to make the difference between you killing me, or me killing you.
Unfortunately I realized tonight that Gallente Assault shotgunners are going to be accurate from a distance. That's probably what I'll be the most afraid of.
