Seriously, CCP. Nobody approves of this. The entire community is against it; even non-Caldari people. Give us a damage fall-off improvement, decreased charge time, increased weapon zoom. Literally anything except this garbage reload bonus.

Honestly, I tried the commando, and I think I would rather have reload time reduction than the Gallente bonus.
Shield regeneration bonus for Gallente Assault is about as useful as Sharpshooter for Nova Knives.

Don't get me wrong, faster reload is nice, but I don't want it attached to my assault dropsuit bonus. Something, anything, except reload speed please.

Please excuse my phrasing, what I mean is that it would reduce how well the weapon performs close range and force less skilled players into a more conservative play style. I think this generally reduces the spam of any weapon, making it more of a niche weapon. As you have stated, this would not solve the problem, but it would be a large step in transitioning it out if FOTM. |
