our perfectly balanced battle was soon cut short when a friendly rail-gun tank desimated the CPM member...
but what followed was even worse.. that CPM member then continued to retreat to the redline and sit there balls deep in their safe redline, in their cacoon of metal that is a RAIL-GUN tank, i felt embaressed witnessing this that a representative of our community was actually doing one of the most broken things in the game at the moment..
she continued to shoot at me from 970m away and i was glued to one quarter of the map the whole game i finished with 10/0 and it left me in shock as i actually respected this CPM member for their contributions to dust.. that is until NOW.
note: awsome dampeners by the way! was really hard to track you^^ you call that perfectly balanced? he was spraying missles at you and you were trolling away not the least bit threatened, prior to that you apparently were trolling over his team going 8/0 without any threats.... of course he used a rail-tank he wanted you dead so you'd stop pretending to be a blaster tank. I'd of done the same, but of course in my case you'd be dead. a fully kitted out dropship that is 500k vs a fully kitted out proto av 120k it was balanced mate, and proper skill was involved as swarms do violent kinetic damage to shield pythons. nah, you seem to think wallets decide this game. that has never been the case if it was my 220k proto suit should never die to miltia scrubs, but **** happens. swarms sacrifice alot to be capabale of destroying vehicles, carrying one makes you susceptible to infantry, they have high cpu and pg costs, my swarm suit actually costs over 200k( since you like money ), low ammo counts so you need to make your shots count, etc, over 20 mil sp is required to use one properly, and what do you get for it? nothing you can't even deter vehicles very well with proto swarms, let alone militia like the scrubs he was farming could of been using. if you bring a weapon like a drop ship that costs 500k into a pub match, they should be able to deal with you, and no it should not take a specced out 40 mil sp character to do it either, if I bring my proto gear in a pub I can lose it to, I don't ***** when a scrub with an re kills me, why should vehicles complain when a militia swarm kills them. Everyone knows swarms are garbage atm, we've been over this.
Team specific redlines are a bandaid solution that hold the game back. So long as balance is based around it, we will never see the maps open up, theyll always be lame little immersion breaking brawls and nothing more. No one should have a place like the redline to kill with impunity from.
So long as balance takes the redline into account, we will not achieve balance, and we will continue to hold back this game.

6 man tank squads trolling over new characters in pubs, is currently answered by rails, trolling drop ships as mentioned above can do what they do because their is no proper infantry based answer to them. complaining about people using rails is like telling people to stop using paper cause it beats my rock, by all means keep using scissors though.
I'm all for changing the game, but that is the game currently. Hey man, I'm probably the only dropship pilot who has generally proposed buffs to railguns, just to get rid of the damn redline. Forge guns are still very very good at killing dropships, it just doesn't help that no AV deals its bonus damage to shields, and Pythons are more agile, faster, with a smaller profile and dat missile bonus makes them lethal to infantry and vehicles alike.
Swarms need to have much faster projectile speed, and probably need a bit of a damage buff now that damage mods are being nerfed. You can't deal damage to moving Pythons with any kind of swarm because the missiles hit one at a time, and don't break the passive regen. That's wrong. They need to all impact right around the same time in order to be effective.
Tank squads are primarily a product of the MLT garbage, but that's for another topic.
