I see some mercs threatening folks if they shoot uplinks, wear protogear and even revive.
IMHO its just stupid to start acting that way over the 1 mil SP possibility. Might as well call it Black Friday SP event.
It's not that serious. Enjoy the game, have fun. You don't need to go out with just MLT fits and try to die at every turn. Try too hard and we won't even get close. Just have some fun.
And if we don't get the 1 million SP, oh well. Don't get me wrong, I would like to get it but I'm not going to threaten some merc over it. Or flip some tables. I'm going to slay as much as I can, when I can.

(Note, needs light weapons 4(cpu reduction) electronics 3, and scan lrecision 1(lowest costing CPU high slot, need a STD precision)

I like the notion of "just go out there and die!". It's giving the game a totally different feel and is pretty exciting.
I think giving out bonuses for dying much is a way of adressing some of the grief thats going on because stomping, without messing with the mechanics or throwing out ressources on programming short-term fixes that might not even work.
Threatening anyone about anything is stupid though... Like you say: Have fun (even if, or especially if, your dying a lot) |
