.... missiles "cannons"? I mean why not have a variety of cannons with blaster, hybrid, laser, or projectile cannons?
What do you guys think? Wouldn't it at least bring a little variety?

They do say that tanks will be able to shoot into space (?) so have special turrets for tanks specifically for MCC damage would be interesting.

I think a better question would be is why they're indestructible in FW and PC, dust needs all the emergent gameplay it can fit without making the game unbearable.

Well a couple of things come to mind...
1. Aiming - Someone already said before but essentially the missiles are automatic and always hit
2. Damage Types - It might get murky if we decided to add multiple damage types. In Null-Sec it would seem like a much better idea, especially since later on we will be able to buy our own MCCs and Warbarges.
3. Battlefield logistics such as this will probably be a focus on a later update along with buyable installations and other things. Of course, we'd probably need the Corp Armory before all of that.
