A certain player whose name contains a year and the name of the sensation of wanting to vomit sent me gloat mail. When I saw the little flashing notification I immediately rolled my eyes figuring it was going to be hatemail (was using my proto assault a.k0 and Viziam ScR), but alas it was gloat mail from the aforementioned player.
Now yes, our team did lose the match (a pub skirmish) but the player who sent the mail imo did terribly (17/14).
Basically he proceeded to say "trust in rust" and something about Amarr inferiority blah blah blah.
1) I'm flattered I got this gloat mail from this player that thought he was so "awesome" because it goes to prove I'm pretty much DUST famous for the Amarr (I'm totally a narcissist)
2) It made me chuckle that he had the audacity to gloat when he did so poorly
Anywho I mailed him back saying something about how he sucks ass and 17/14 is terrible and he was probably just butthurt because I Viziamed all over that sweet baby face of his a couple of times. He responded back that K/D doesn't matter (general reply for someone who does poorly), and he couldn't hear me over his victory screen.
This gave me another good laugh. I told him, look brotato chip, it wasn't FW, IDGAF about pubs, I got ISK and I'm satisfied because that's what I wanted -- ISK.
And that's a first look into Aisha's DUST life! This was part one of a micro blog I'm starting about my happenings in DUST, stay tuned!
P.S. - Aisha and the Amarr are better than you, even when I'm/we aren't better than you, we are still > you, kk? Kk.
I could list the ways how we Amarr are better than you, but your lesser mind wouldn't comprehend it.

Winning pubs doesn't matter. It's pointless, in fact. FW and PC are all that matter for winning. I don't care if I win a Skirmish, or a Domination, or an Ambush, because they're meaningless and pointless. Anyone who thinks they're big and bad because they win a lot of pubs is delusional IMO.

I would go so far as to say winning in FW or PC or really any video game thing ever (except for if money was on the line) doesn't matter, but then people would just say I'm a scrub and that I suck and then I would cry so I guess I won't say those things.

dude was probably the driving force behind his team winning, and solo against some stacked protos that isnt something you can do without taking some losses.
so some dude using underpowered minmatar suits, most likely basic/adv, against an organised proto squad, while solo and managing to push a win against that is not exactly a small feat.
and it isnt easy to do reguardless of weather or not you were trying to win or weather or not winning matters to you.
so dude managed to squak a win, with underpowered gear, against a full protosquad, and still go positive.... |

17/14 is terrible? What is with people, these days?
A sub-par match is labelled as terrible. A game that gets less than a 9 on the 10 point scale is considered mediocre... Getting a C on a test is considered a failure... Getting second place is considered losing...
Why is the middle ground shrinking into non-existence? Why are people more and more thinking in black and white in a reality that is filled with nuanced shades of grey?
Anyway. Congrats. The only mails I ever get are corp. invitations... |

dude we both you you run with decent people.
one guy against an organised squad is going to have it rough when they are against people like us.
he not only went positive but was very clearly contributing to the win, wich was his entire goal, one of wich he probably purposely sacraficed clones for.
meaning his not so great score was teh result of him doing risky ****, like charging in try break a formarion, or hacking without someone covering his back, standing his ground defending, etc etc etc.
if he had played with a "**** winning i need to pad my KD/R" you can bet your ass his number of deaths would of not been nearly as high and he probably would of gotten more kills. |

I like that mindset.
With ~7 billion humans on this planet, that means that there is a very high probability that those with that mindset are, by their very own logic, not good.
Though another ruling force of society are delusions/denial. So those with the aforementioned mindset will probably plug their ears and pretend like they are the best, and therefore, not in the categorization of "not good," even though they sit next to a guy that is better than them.
Humans are silly creatures.

And it's not silly at all. Females naturally look for a mate that can sustain themselves and survive effectively. Males want to reproduce. So they try to be better at surviving (or at least seem like they are) than the other males and what not. It's natural animal instinct

Amarr complain in FW that Minmatar beat them all the time, but to be frank, it doesn't take a lot of effort to win an Amarr fight.
Both sides suck, just that Minmatar suck a tiny bit less. All it takes is a single good player on the Amarr side to turn the tide.

At the same time, I sit right here in a nation plagued by nationalism and the blind belief that we are somehow better than the rest of the world despite concrete evidence to the contrary. Our infrastructure is failing, cities are decaying, and talented professionals leaving en masse. We have that mindset. And we are moving not forward, but backwards. Mindsets are meaningless without action. But I digress...
I get wanting to be better. I don't get is, as I have said: Why are people more and more thinking in black and white in a reality that is filled with nuanced shades of grey? Why are people slowly disregarding the middle grounds?
Part of improving yourself as a person or as a people is acknowledging reality. THAT is a fundamental part of moving forward. And reality has middle grounds, whether we like it or not.
As for the reproductive part... Well, I fail to see how that is at all relevant to the idea of the diminishing middle ground.

I have a similar situation going on with this one merc whose name I won't tell he constantly snipes in pub matches and I like hunting silly snipers like him I kill 3-4 of his proto stuff and then he would kill my basic shotgun scout
then he sends me mail after the battle that simply reads "Payback Buster" This literally confused me for a few minutes before I realized what it meant (I seriously had to ponder what it meant for a large portion of the next match)
If that merc sees this and recognizes me I just want to say: By all means sir, take any victory you can in you (probably) very, VERY, sad life also next time say Combo Breaker "Payback Buster" is confusing

Being decent in a decent squad is how to do this.
I'm a bad, but I still manage to often go ISK positive in proto.
OBs are nasty though. Makes Domi a pain in the rear.

A 17/14 round would literally be the highlight of my entire gaming week, just saying.
But then, I'm bad, so what do I know?

Aisha Ctarl wrote:A certain player whose name contains a year and the name of the sensation of wanting to vomit sent me gloat mail.
Kk. You rage quit alot.
We won't follow the deceiver.
You let this be your warning.

I agree.
It was you wasn't it?? I've never heard of being nauseous referred to as being patrick but you do have a year in your name so man... why the gloating??!
All this fighting has made me patrick, gonna go pray to the porcelain god!
