5 in Gallante Scout
2 in Scrambler Pistol
1 in active Scanner
5 in Shields
5 in Shield extender
I'm thinking of transferring to Amarr Medium or Minmatar Assault
I like speed, I like range, I like up-front combat
Scouts are fun but too flimsy for my liking
I was rash with my investing for my stockpiled sp so I'll slowly join either of these or maybe lv 1 of all 3
Anyone's experiences with these suits? |

I want to have an idea of where to take the skills I have since I shouldn't be relying on respecs at this point. Shields make me think Caldari but experience says Minmatar, and still other options pull in opposite directions.
At this point I'm going to go without spending sp for a while (again). Maybe in a month or 2 I'll have a better grasp of how things are progressing.

As a proto min logi, it is incredibly expensive to get into, both in isk and sp, but I would really reconsider logi given the 1.8 update really hitting support logis pretty hard and if you intended to use the suits as slayer logis, I don't think they will be an effective as you think with the dmg mods getting a nerf too.
For assault, you should consider your gamestyle. More hit in run? In the thick of things?

I've not played since 1.4 I think so a lot has changed. Been back for 3-4 days and I'm always shredded by rail rifles regardless of build or play style. I miss the old days of 3-5 seconds and anyone would die not this "take more time to kill" stuff they're aiming for.
If I could Respec I'd likely go Caldari assault with full shields, some passive armour, ARs, Electronics 5, Engineering 5, and not go past Adv suits. Too much isk and too much sp otherwise. I have 10.8 mill sp but all is spent by now
Run, Gun, squad up if it works out.
Dust is not the game for impulse buys
