Is this million kill challenge to test what's most used in the game?
Is it a method to sell omega boosters?
Because 1 million is very high for this small of a playerbase.
Probably best if we all just take an alt and throw it into gunfire as much as possible.

It definitely seems like a push for boosters. The fact that boosters apply to that is....well....
CCP is really trying to get people in the mood to p(l)ay lol.

Got abosulty nothing to do with the fact titanfall is out this week on the 14th in the EU :-P
Whats anoyyinh is 1 million is a lot of skill points to miss out on but i hate 1.7 gameplay enough that 10 matches does not seem worth it

I think it is CCP's way of giving us something if we work for it as they know a respec of any kind would lead to a massive FOTM binge, again.

I don't really understand how people can blame CCP for trying to earn money. It's not like their business strategy is to spend money developing a game without revenue.

FoTM binge is going to happen whether or not they allow us to use our SP in an environment that reflects CCPs newest direction for DUST.
FoTM also allows for more accurate balancing, and more amusing tear harvesting when those things get nerfed, as balance passes on targeted issues have never been a legit call for respecs.
I'm confident in a 1.8 Full Infantry Respec at this point, but only time will tell, since CCP obviously isn't.

Well if you add all the kills of this week of all the corps you will not go over 35-40 on that list and hit 1 million.
The cap is achievable.
1.8 it's so secret that nobody know what will be in it, even after patch notes...

There are different ways to get money out of customers. You can give them stuff so good they simply can't refuse, or you can hold back everything they wanted all along, so you can milk them dry.
Both will get you paid, but only one generates an angry mob in the process.

It would lead to a much larger FOTM binge cause now you have all your infantry sp back, not just gaining a potential 1.5-2mil, huge difference. Just because they are re-vamping weapons and introducing a few new suits doesn't give us an automatic game reset, start over button. If there is a particular suit or weapon you want, I guess like the rest of us you're gonna have to start saving sp again, just like the rest of us.
I would not hold your breath for a respec.

lol I can relate on the child like sensibilities. I'm fighting the urge to get the Gé¼50 AUR and get Gé¼20 instead but I think I'm losing.

There will be two games launching this week, Dark Souls 2, and Titanfall (Both releaseing on the 14th in the EU). They may be trying to keep players logging in and playing (I'll just play 10 matches then I'm off to play DkS 2, sorry lol)
To push the sale of booster, not that there is anything wrong with that, it goes toward developing the game anyway.
Maybe there will be no respec, so this is an effort to keep everyone, a little happier. Maybe.
