The lack of any viable form of anti shield AV is ridiculous and with the castration of both the proficiency skill and DMG mods is needed now more then ever. PLEASE CCP, do something about this fatal lapse in intelligent thinking.
Thanks CCP for making the HMG Heavy viable again :3
That's no excuse to slack off on releasing a heavy laser though =.=

Forge does more to armor, it USED to do more to shield.

As much as I support the idea, I don't know if we're ready for a hmg version of the rail rifle.
I would definitely appreciate a gatling laser in future updates though.

We'll need a shield-oriented heavy weapon in 1.8 more than ever, considering the new Minmatar and Caldari shield heavies and commandos suits coming. HMG and Forge are both weapons with damage profiles that do more damage to armor. It's time to correct this!

Learn this game please Forge=Rail=90% to shield 110% to armor.
