I know CCP has it's hands full with other things, so I'm not really QQing here but I do want to know how will NPC pirates actually be implemented or at least what could the future offer for pirate factions such as the Bloor Raider?
Currently we have little to go on when it comes to pirate factions other than we fight for them in public matches. I feel that we could be doing a lot more with them. I could imagine we run missions with them and lose standing for the factions we're committing these acts on. I could also imagine that pirate contracts would be of a much higher difficulty level than other contracts as well.

I never got around to reading the description of the blood raiser's saga but after reading a fiction piece, I realized their potential. Could be sending us to collect inactive clones.
And I didn't really think of us being able to join pirate factions... That brings a lot more ideas into my head. Aside from the role play aspect, I can imagine that pirate factions would give you plenty risk but lots of reward.

Oh and also that being a pirate essentially bars you from High Sec space entirely, especially the larger trade hubs. So you would have the consequence of not being able to operate in Empire space at all.
Yeah, I think the penalty might be a problem considering that the majority of the players in Dust don't really know about the complicated side of New Eden.
If there was some type of clean slate system where you could start off with a clean slate but at a major cost, it would be fine.

Players should come to Dust not just for a good shooter, but the "more than that" factor Dust has. As a Pirate you need to feel like one. This isn't to say you are banned from Pubs, only say limited in certain aspects of High Sec content when such features are developed.
When you say it like that, yeah that makes sense. Pirate players not being able to access High-Sec trade hubs and having to go to black markets, probably being banned from FWs, and other aspects where standings matter.

Sgt Kirk wrote:I think i'd be cool if we got Pirate Faction suits down the line...much, much further down the line. Just a little random piece of information, these are the influences behind some of the Pirate Factions Tech:
Guristas Pirates: Caldari/Gallente
Blood Raiders: Amarr/Minmitar
Angel Cartel: Gallente/Minmitar
Serpentis: Gallente/Minmitar
And then other Factions Include:
The honorable Sisters of EVE Amarr/Gallente
and the twisted Sansha's Nation Amarr/Caldari
I always wondered who influenced each pirate faction. Thought the Gallente were pretty "clean" because I didn't see anything specific but at the same time that didn't make sense.

Doesn't EVE have some type of black market or rather p2p trading without an actual marketplace?

I would love to see a blood paint job on a suit and I would like it more if the suit was different than the standard.
Actual blood?
I guess the "Devil" in your name isn't just to sound coo.

Frick, we have those? I'd love to see it.

Corretion its blood raiders but here is the link to the picture I just took. Blood Raider SuitI am a bit of a collector in these types of games so I try to pickup these kinds of suits when they are offered.
I was expecting some actual splashes of red but this isn't bad, it's actually pretty lol.
