Hardly a "Gimped" suit, and I run all Minmatar. I already have all of my Minmatar suits planned out, Assault included, still doesn't come close to the versatility of this Ck.0.

I've seen Infected in PC, he was in the game that kicked us out of PC, we all know who FA are, and they are all regarded as above average players, some of them great. Granted we are a newish corp but we have over 100 members.
On that note, I realize that TSE doesnt have any land anymore, but whos alt are you Heimdallr? You talk like you know anything about PC or decent players but HLP (lol sounds like HELP) doesnt have any districts, and your name doesnt really come up in conversations about decent players. So QFT.

Anyway, back on topic.
I've been mucking around with that Protofits site, and a little bit in game last night, building assault suits for 1.8.
I still don't see them being totally gimped. They will do average at whatever role you build them towards, but still be more front line combat oriented regardless. They just wont excel in whatever suit variant that you build them towards

Examples:
You can have speed, or armor tank, or damps, or scan range (Useless without precision but that would totally gimp your suit). Or you can have shields or scan precision (Useless with out range, see previous reasoning)
Can't move like a scout, with the damps, 2 equipment, and passive scans.

You can brick tank it and still be faster than a logi or a heavy, but you can't support like a logi, or have the raw firepower of a heavy.

You can do a mix tank and damage mod fit and compete with the commando, but the commando still wins with its raw EHP and bonuses for damage output. You are still much faster though.

Once again, just really listing the subtle pros of the assault suit. I'm really liking this less QQ more pew pew mindset and I'm trying to focus on that.
