So far DSUT has proved that CCP hates minmatar, more precisely that the community hates minmatar. Observe:
1. minmatar suits have some of the worst stats and slot layouts in the game 2. every minmatar weapon in the game has been nerfed 3. new minmatar weapons get nerfed the hardest (combat Rifle getting 15% damage nerf, even though only good at cqc) 4. RE's are most likely the next target.
The entire minmatar race is being nerfed as a whole. What can be done?

Gallente weapons come pre nerfed.
Shield regeneration bonus for Gallente Assault is about as useful as Sharpshooter for Nova Knives.

Number 4 is baseless speculation, the Mass Driver is being buffed, the HMG is going unchanged in an arena where every other rifle in the game was nerfed, and the Minmatar Logi will arguably be the most useful and in-demand Logi suit in the game with the incoming Heavy hoard.

*MD is worthless. which is why no one uses it. *Speculation is saying the HMG is going to be unchanged... nonethless, with the nerf of the damage mods comes the automatic nerfing of the HMG, which so many heavies depended on. *minmatar logi will only work on galente heavy

The Matari people are used to being the underdogs. It just makes victory that much sweeter. When I die to a prototype Caldari that still has over 500 armor left I just think "scrub." At least the Amarr know how to rely on one defensive system.

slot layout is not the problem I actually like. the problem is all minmatar suits give up ~15% EHP after full fit for ~7% more speed. first, speed tanking does not work quite well in an FPS and second take a gallente suit, fit a kincat and they are as mobile as the minmatar suit while still having more EHP. this obviously isnt a fair tradeoff, the base stats need to be brought in line with the rest of the suits. |

I just want ccp to actually give racial bonuses that really matter like giving gallente a bonus to armor regeneration and caldari shield tanking etc.

It's only losing 1.5% more DPS than the rail rifle, and as other people who've done the math have shown, it's still gonna be better than AR, which is supposed to be the best at CQC.
Don't forget that the Minmatar preferred weapon profile, Projectile (-5%/+10%) is the best in the game. It loses only 5% dmaage to shields but against twice that against armor. That is important when figuring a weapon's DPS and range.

I'm sorry man, but the flaylock was to strong(thought it got nerfed way to hard) and the CR didn't get nerfed hard enough IMO, it's still better then the AR.
And the MD is getting a buff and the Minmatar Assault/Scout are getting great bonuses.
The Minmatar suits are honestly only bad because of bullet magnatism and AA, before 1.4 the Minny suits would kick ass.

Minmatar pro suits also, have only 2 low slots. Speed means nothing because TTK is too damn high. and AA with decent aim yourself mitigates the entire speed advantage. plus inorder to have any survivability mini's need plates, which slows them down. making them easier to hit.

projectiles have the most fall off of any weapon type in the game. look at HMGs for example. so they need the -5%/+10% because they start doing no damage at closer ranges.
AR has less dps but actually further range than the CR.

Uhh... amarr have BY FAR the worst slot layout, including -1 slot on some suits.
Every minmatar weapon has been insanely OP, the CR will still be OP after 1.8, and the Mass Driver might become OP too.
The Combat rifle will still do 540 DPS versus the sub 400 for the AR, after the nerf that is. Meaning it is still at least 25% more powerful than the shortest range rifle (i.e. still op)
No one is talking baout nerfing REs.
Please, minmatar are just fine, and most of thier weaponry has been or will be OP (MD, flaylock, grenades, combat rifle) |

Just further proof that you are ********. The AR has LESS RANGE than the CR, it has always had more range than the AR, it will continue to have more range than the AR. Oh and it does more damage than the TAC AR and the ScR per trigger pull. There is a reason why you see nothing but CRs in PC. |

The suit balance is really awful, Matari need a buff to stamina/regen of shields/stamina Without this we can't fill the 'hit and run' role we are supposed to.... Amarr moan of their speed being lower but due to high stamina They can cover equal distance in the same time as Matari

I think Minmatar are in need of some balancing, just like every other dropsuit in the game in some shape form or fashion, but there isn't a crusade against them. In fact, if you play to their strengths then they are very good at what they do.
