Like the idea(kinda like SOCOM), but I don't think CCP could do it.

they said it would be their last focus if so. they want to add everything they primarily want first like all the new guns and the pilot suit and stuff. if there is enough memory to add the ability to modify after everything else, then they said they would add such a thing.

Eh, I'm in no hurry for these. We need to get the core content in first, balance it, and the variants, and then possibly add pirate faction gear, before this ever became a priority. I'd say 3-5 years out.

These weapons are umm not really barrel reliant only 1 actually shoots bullets "technically" not counting the hypersonic RR rounds but I don't think the electromagnetic rails count as a barrel more of the actual projectile accelerator.

I understand weapon customization but right now just let CCP get there act together. And then maybe add different sights and color customization (although not important) then work there way up to more intricate customizations such as different attachments and ammo.

You lost me at camo costing aurum.

Nothing should be available for aurum that I cant buy with isk.

It should be like a rig upgrade to a fit.
for suits being able to change color and texture.
lights, armor layer 1, 2, 3 and 4, joints, base layer (think undersuit), accents and decals.
If Ccp wants make it permanent until you delete that fit. Since you can't change the dropsuit of a fit anyway.

Same for guns, exterior, parts, accents and decorations. Being able to change colors or match it to the suits camo.
Customize the scope too if you have one, bullets should depend on what ammo you have equipped.
(blue laser or red laser)
Buy it for aurum or a large sum of isk

The only problem is that there is just so much already going for this game in the customization aspect so adding all these features wouldn't be the best idea. Plus if that happened it would be like version 2.5 of Dust. There is many things that need to be adjusted and fixed in this game already. The Plasma cannon needs some major increase in splash damage because right now it sucks. If you adjusted that, I guarantee that the number of people using plasma cannons would go up.
