Seeing trolls still credit kain for all the abomination the pfc council is, i wanted to tell my story and why i think you credit kain a little too much.
A while back me and edguy 111 where trying to buy a district, lots of people did not reply, where absent or simply did not care. Some ancient exile people even told us to attack oldelulf and take a district by force since no authority was supervising pfc anymore. That is exactly what we did and targeted the good folks of phoenix fed. When we won and reupped we were noted the rules of pfc that we wew unaware of. Thats when we decided to have enough honnor to loose a clone pack and do a no show.
After that we were able to contact kane after DDB finally told us to talk to him and were able to purchase a district with the help of cubs. After our purchase, we were immediatly trolled by dark legion and even though we reminded them the rules we followed they wanted to swing us over when we just came in with no experience. After a very good service from NF, me and edguy had this wonderfull idea to send a msg to all owners of pfc and try to organise something more. We realized us smaller corp were vulnerable and did not have any shield from corps like dark legion who did not care at all. So i opened up a channel in dust and all land owners did come in a little bit confused at first, but then the magic happened and people started to communicate.
I never had invested myself that much in a game than i have in dust and i cannot take more credit for what happened after that, but i am truly proud of what an organisation the council as become. Everybody sure played their part with honnour and if this model can be exported to nearby planets, i hope that corps that want to keep this game alive , helps us out in making dust the game we all want it to be, that is being competitive, alive and diverse.

Point noted, this cannot be attributed to only one person and i think the timing was right for a change within the group of actors that had real say over oldelulf. As i am a professionnal game developper, i really see this gap the game has to provide to help corporations be more effective like the academy is for beginner, even if imho the academy time is not long enough. A month ago i tried eve online and i can say that ccp knows nothing about tutorials and even as a very old game player was rebuffed by its utter chaotic and cluttered game interface. Dust is the same thing but a little bit better. They are lucky to have dedicated hardcore fans, because they need to get actualised in game design knowledge of how to retain your players and other things that are simple good old sense. Anyhow, felt like i had to say the above, because kain and other players are very roleplay mercs and very good players with good intentions and i think behind all this there is nothing wrong making some form of small capital, may it be isk or renown.

Sorry you did not make it to pfc redstar dude, we voted positively for you but you still have a hard time with public relations it seems. Its unfortunate you throw these words to me when i both voted for wtfa and you to come to pfc. In a democracy, you cant always impose your vision of how things ahould be. For the moment, what you consider a cage, we consider a finely tuned business model. Think what you will but after playing against you guys, i think your able enoug to get your own districts and mind other things than pfc. If you have a legitimate question that is answerable, i will be happy to answer it with all transparency.
