Can you sprint and strafe at the same time?
Also, can you shoot while sprinting?
I hear all sorts of talk, but I want to see how accurate it is.
Thanks, and Happy Gaming!!! |

It's the exact same as controller. You can sprint diagonally forward left and right, but not straight left to right.
You can't shoot while strafing at all.
Thanks! |

Thanks for all the info. All I know is that some people strafe in a way that seems impossible. I tried replicating it with my Scout gk.0, with complex cardiac and kinetics, and I can't do it.
Thoughts on how this is accomplished? |

KB/M is better for strafing and precise aiming. Overall, KB/M is a far better choice for the type of shooter that DUST is. Um, don't know about the rest of those, but DS3 has never been able to match the HAV control afforded by the keyboard. KB and DS3 has always been the way I tanked, ever since CCP ruined module selection. Up until 1.7 KB actually allowed you to accelerate more efficiently than DS3, and so reach a higher top speed. Nowadays it just affords more precision at the points on the joystick where you're on the cusp of changing direction.
A lot of times I'm driving an HAV, it will turn opposite of what I want. It starts off turning the right way and going forward, but then it switches to turning the wrong way and going in reverse. I know other people have this problem with the DS3, too.
Again, thanks for the feedback, everyone. There has to be something some of these players know how to do in order to strafe the way they strafe, and it could possibly be the fact I really am that much worse than them. |
