I'm basically done with this game for the time being. I withdraw my whole "running for CPM1" thing.
I would never allow them to get anything done because this game is outright inferior to every other game made since E.T. Until it is polished, it does not even deserve to be called a beta, this is an alpha build at best. I also believe that the CPM should be active in playing the game. How else can they appropriately gauge the population's choices and opinion?
Glitches, exploits, terrible "balance" decisions(I still remember your decision to nerf the MD was based on an office party game causing butthurt) run rampant while you basically try to placate people with more carrots on a stick than have been used in all of human history.
I would literally set fire to my cash before giving a single penny more to your company.
No, you cannot have my ISK. No, I do not want your sympathy.
I just want CCP to know that they have lost a customer. A customer who checked his email every day for a beta invite for months, who bought aurum, who campaigned for people to be nicer to them for a while. I just cannot come up with any kind of justification to continue playing at this point when literally all this game causes is rage, and the only "fun" I can get out of it is causing others to rage as well.
Goodbye Dust. I'd like to say it's been fun, but it truly has not. The fun part has been the people I play with(who play other games.) and the forums. I might just hang around the forums, but I probably won't be posting about balance as much.
May the lag forever be crippling the other team instead of your own.
If you hear the words "WORTH IT!" look about, something hilarious just happened.

That was actually the plan. Praise the sun!

Sad part is, they actually had the formula just about right before "release"
the AR was a tiny bit too powerful, the frame rate was a bit iffy at times, but the game felt fun.
I knew that when I lost, either I screwed up or the other guy was better equipped for that particular encounter. There was no auto aim, there were very, very few "turn corner and die before you even figure out you've been shot" moments, tanks were powerful tools on the field, but could still be killed rather easily by coordinated AV and driven off by a single AV who knew what they were doing. a heavy was a rare challenge, not every other suit on the field. A logi was someone who supported their team, not the single best general use suit in the game.
That was the Dust that got me hooked.

There are times (such as now) where I don't play as much as I normally would, but that's no big deal. In the mean time, I'm downloading the Chroma (rhythm shooter) alpha as we speak. Should be interesting
If you note the topic, it was something to inform CCP that, through sheer incompetence, they have lost a customer who has been with this game since the first moment they were able to play it.
I also had to soften it a lot. The original would've probably gotten me permabanned.

Atari cartridges than there were consoles to play them on. When asked why this was, the marketing guy said something like, "So you can play it at your summer home." yeah what a bunch of cool guys we are. talking about crappy old atari games. lets get on our vintage 1950's bicycles and ride down to the vinyl record store. why would you post that, nobody asked for that. and no i dont know if some dude said some stuff
