Why? Simply 'cause RR is good in PUBS where you can "camp" 'cause you don't want to die. so you can stay far from you target and kill them, and have a good KDR
In PC where win is a must CR/ACR is LOT LOT LOT better than any RR, for DMG dealt and for fitting cost.
Many use RR in pubs, and keep the CR/ACR for pc. Idk Jastad, it's a mix of both in PC. City and cqc areas are places you'll find the most CR's, but open areas and Especially the bridge map on PC is where most run RR's. It doesn't matter, they are all getting toned down lets wait til after 1.8 to discuss what needs tweaking. Bro i remember all the PC we have done and on 16 people, 13/14 where running CR/ACR sure there are always 2/3 rail. We usually bring Godman with his laser. Didn't said there are ONLY CR/ACR, but they are dominant for sure.

I've seen you say this twice now. What does that even mean?
Last I checked, the SMG has subpar DPS, compared to all the other sidearms. In fact, the ScP has almost double its DPS.
I must not be thinking about it the same way you are... I guess.

Having played PC continuously over the past few months despite the district locking, I will note that the CR still seems to be the dominant weapon in that arena. |

Combat rifle is by far the dominant weapon in PC. This is having played with AE/OH and gone against Escrow/TeamPlayers several times.
I can safely say the CR is by far the most prevalent weapon. Shield tank or armor tank doesn't matter, the CR shreds both in a matter of microseconds. It needed a nerf bad but these changes just show that the CR will still dominate. I for one have tried to stick with the AR in 1.7 but I collapsed and switched to the CR after getting owned time and time again by it. The current levels of DPS from from CR/RRs remind of the ol Duvolle TAC days.
