This thread is about going with the cheapest contractor at the expense of quality. Its rather ignorant to start throwing terms like racism around in a discussion like this. Honestly, do you feel anyone here is saying that one group of people are better programmers because of some inherent genetic superiority?

You can call everyone a racist all you want, doesn't change the fact that we can actually see the products of these developers and they are subpar. In a blind analysis one need not know who made Dust, reviews speak for themselves.

Are you going to tell me that CCP hired CCP shanghi because it was more convenient or more expensive and they made a better game? Where does race come into play again? I'm sure there's many software engineers in China who are represent the best in the world. CCP did not hire those. |

You can blame whatever you like, I blame the developers.
Chinese or Martians the game is what it is. A spade is a spade. A poor game is a poor game. Developers make the games. These developers have done a poor job.
Was the game outsourced? Yes?
Was this done to cut costs? Possibly.
Did the developers produce a satisfactory product? I claim No.
Are the developers in China? Some are.
Is this the "reason" the product is bad? No.
