PERIMETER GÇô A spokesman for the Caldari Navy confirmed today that a total of fifty-seven officers have been dishonourably discharged from the Caldari Navy, after a week of legal proceedings that saw a number of arrests relating to incidents during the administration of the Caldari Providence Directorate.
Publicly, it appears that all those involved were relieved of command under the umbrella charge of GÇ£actions performed against the best interest of the Caldari State and PeopleGÇ¥. Sources within the Caldari Navy, meanwhile, claim that actual charges range from dereliction of duty, to gross insubordination, incompetence of command, and operations in breach of the Yulai Convention.
While the Caldari Navy have refused to release any further details regarding the fate of those who were discharged, rumours have begun to circulate regarding a number of former officers who have been sentenced to long term incarceration.
Former 37th Squadron Wing Commander Sami Okuuda is confirmed to be among those who were discharged, and was sighted leaving Perimeter on a civilian transport bound for New Caldari.
Speaking from corporate headquarters after the press statement, Admiral Mininela Erinen, Executive officer of the Caldari Navy, responded to questions about further action, stating that GÇ£these proceedings are now closed, along with an era in the Caldari NavyGÇÖs history during which those who should have been in a position to command had their hands bound by an administration that should never have been permitted to dictate our military objectives or projection of force.GÇ¥
The Admiral closed the session by reiterating that GÇ£with this final action, the Caldari NavyGÇÖs focus returns to its core purpose; protecting and preserving the interests of the Caldari State and its people.GÇ¥

The ship he was seems to have been attacked and the whole crew taken. All they found was a pendent that belonged to him, so i think he is dead or at least reduced to a minor player now

might not want to head to conclusions too early Steady,
there are some who believe that he was taken by Sansha (the whole crew taken is a likely M.O creating more sansha slaves, besides a man with that much knowledge and political "expertise" would be a fairly useful asset)
whatever the case may be, i think New eden wont be seeing Heth for a long, long time

Heth loytails are too few in numbrr to pose a massive threat. A threat yes but nothing that would destroy the fedration or the state.
Personal i agree i doubt its the last we have seen of him but given noone has rose up to defend his name tell us much. Those days are over its the combined might of the pirate factions and yes the nation im worried about

When I was younger I followed him he represented something more something Caldari. As the years went by I began to not trust him. Heth fought without honor and did disgraceful things. Now I'm loyal to the true government of the State, The Chief Executive Panel. I will fight for my State with honor aand integrity.

Heth's the reason I had run to Mordu when he tried to cull the early Caldari Dusters. I'm glad that man is out of the picture...I liked his original ideas but ultimately he was just like the corporations he railed against so much...only interested in power.
That said, it think it would be very bad news indeed if he surfaced with Sansha.

Heth was a great man. The only one strong enough to lead the Caldari back to their former dignity....but the State followed those weak willed cowards and impure half breed scum and made peace with our long standing enemies.
I would have stood by Heth as he reknewed the Assault on Caldari Prime. We need to retake our home and put flight to these Federal bastards. |
