Seems like with a utility grenade that doesn't directly kill infantry that you'd need more of them.

Locus and Flux were both OP when TTK was higher. They are raising TTK. AV grenades are woefully underpowered though. |

Wasn't everyone's original suggestion along the lines of increasing clusters to limit people standing on hives spamming them... Wouldn't this have solved the issue CCP?
If a proto hive would pop out maybe 4 grenades (I don't know what it does now), some people I've seen would burn through even 4 Hive Logi suits in no time.

If it works like militia locus grenades do now, you'll get 4 grenades from an advanced or higher nanohive in 1.8 (12 clusters per grenade, 48 clusters) or six grenades if that hive is dropped by a proto Cal logi (72 clusters).
I'll probably end up dropping grenades from my scout fits just to restock more REs (which hopefully will still be 8 clusters per RE). |

I think we all agree that this is not the appropriate answer to grenade spam. Increasing cluster count would've been satisfactory.
Hopefully, there's enough time and consideration given to this idiotic nerf and it can be repealed before the patch is locked, allowing the proper fix to be applied in a hotfix.
