I'd like to put out a thread here from the EVE side of CCP.

It was almost immediately pointed out that this would make some of the modules completely outclassed and effectively useless.

And then within a week new values were posted.
https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&m=3458903#post3458903These new values did away with the blanket buff, and instead addressed each type in a manner so as to carefully place them to where they wouldn't be outmatched by other modules of the same meta level.
That needs to be happening here desperately. Possibly the most notable extreme here mirroring the situation had in EVE was the nerf to assault rifles where you just took everything down by a blanket nerf of 11.8(7)%.
I tried pointing this out in a thread here.After the nerf, the base DPS of a basic Assault rifle will be 375, which is roughly in line with the other assault weapons only varying by a few points up to 25 less than the ACR. The other assaults are quite well balanced between themselves
After the nerf, the Breach AR will have a DPS of 300. That's 75 DPS less than it's brother, while being a harder to fit, and more expensive weapon.
Let me make the disparity even more visible here. The prototype Breach assault rifle, the CreoDron, will only have a DPS of 330.
The prototype varient, which is multiple times harder to fit and over 10 times as expensive, puts out less damage than the basic assault rifle.
It at the prototype level puts out less damage than any other basic assault weapon in the game.
In fact, the current DPS of the CreoDron is only 374. The current prototype variant puts out less DPS than the basic assault rifle after it's been nerfed.
There is something desperately wrong here, and it needs to be looked at. Show us you're listening Shanghai. Re-asses some of these values.
