My question is:
Where's the sg and nova knives fit in all this?

It says that knives will stay the same and yes scouts got a big buff, but are we excited for nothing?
So proto knives register around 1400 plus with max skills an suit bonus an that's including a behind charge head shot .
Now, I read somewhere a heavy could have 2200+ armor an shields?!
So now a heavies Bain won't even kill them in one shot?
This goes for knives an sg alike, with damage mods wrecked most suits will have more HP than we're used to dealing with, so chances are a sg is gonna only knock a dual tanked suits shields 3/4 of the way down then you still have 600+ armor to take out.
So should knives get a a damage buff so a charge strike is always a ohk on a min scout with bonus?
And will the sg ever get a spread buff and or damage or what should be done to compensate for the recent changes?
Is the scout buff a diversion from yet another nerf done indirectly by changing things other than the scout?

If you did you would know that already some heavies need two hits, so if heavies ditch damage an go full dual tank knives won't be as effective, I have pro scout an pro 5 so if I gotta knife twice now then shyt 1.8 could be a slight nerf as far as killing heavies is concerned, scouts and heaviesare ying and yang

Scouts won't be UP in 1.8, I actually fear that they will likely become FOTM worthy. Although, we'll see about that.
Also, I'm tired of saying it, but why would you want MORE spread on the shotgun!? Less spread means more concentrated damage, which means you deal more damage to what you are actually trying to shoot at, and not to the space around them. In my opinion, the shield damage increase and the TTK reduction to other weaponry will be a decent buff to the SG. The concentrated spread should be the WHOLE circle, not the center of the whole circle, if so put a bright dot or make the circle shrink with operation, so I don't miss a shot by a hair
