I am happy they are bringing it back. I missed have strafing battles. I missed being able to use more gun game and less stealth. When I read the dev blog I was happy. I remember readying in one dev blog that they wanted ttk to be low. I was saddened by this statement. It was taking away what made dust different from other fps,but now that factor is coming back.Plus there are new guns that are really cool.

Nah.I can 1v1 any heavy. Been doing it since chromosone still doing it today. Will do it in 1.8 lol. I am a chubby chaser. Not like a logi though, more like a cannibalistic assault unit who feeds of the meat of heavies. lol

lawls. But, yeah, that's my bet. I'm putting my points into a proto repair tool, I think....I am betting there will always be a heavy nearby who needs the fixing.
ALWAYS.
Hi! Gosh, I've missed you...with every bullet, plasma shot, rail gun, and missile.

I miss them too. Advancing these days is simply too tedious, IMO. Looking fwd to the longer TTK. |

I really don't think it's going to make much of a difference. TTK seemed to be based more on hit detection before than anything (though oddly enough, I never, even in early Uprising, noticed a problem with hit detection when I was shooting) Still, it's gonna be interesting seeing how it plays out with the old damage models.
Sometimes I miss never seeing tanks in a battle... then I remember the mystical flying soma, and I can't help but smile.

We never really had "high" TTK, but it was better then it is now, due to bad hit detection.
All Rifle DPS should have been lowered the moment AA was brought back. |
