Heavies with HMGs.
Scouts with cloak(scanner too if they're good players) REs, shotguns, and sometimes NK.
Minmatar assaults with dual flaylocks(16 rounds before reload...yay....*cries)
Fluxes to make up for weapon profile damage to help against heavies.
Assault ScRs for mediums for being the only rifle with enough damage per clip to kill the heavies when you miss a few shots.
And the same old tank spam.

Logis. Logis with cloaks.
Scouts with NK's in every single installation being all Predator-like and sh|t, but constantly running into logis with cloaks.
For every new player though
Sniper Starter Fit, don't even get close to the battlefield or leave the red line, good luck waiting for 1.9
GalLogis with multiple Scanners (not really, ppl will just use the militia scanner on an LAV HAV DS)
CalLogis Spamming Nano's making ALL OF THE WP's!!!
MinLogis dying as they Chase that Chubby
Amarr Logis spamming Uplinks and making objectives unassailable.
ADS will still be out there wrecking people, but with more time to Charge your Forge Gun before they blast you it's a tad bit more tiresome taking on multiple heavies with FG's

It all depends how "invisible" cloaks will be. If the cloak simply looks like a frame rate glitch on the screen and scouts (or slayer logi) can cloak effectively there will be a lot of QQ about scouts using RE's and slayer cloaked logi's.
There seems to be little need for a cloak in the game, way too many issues and its unnecessary for scouts to excel in a match.
Being said, burst HMG gal sents are going to be the big plan for most, especially those scouts if cloaks don't work or players don't know how to use scouts properly. we shall see what CCP messes up first the cloaks or having the majority of players using heavy mass eHP. My bet is cloaks. |

I bet its the heavies. I forget who posted it but they theorized the cloaking device will be something one has to have equipped to have it working. If so that means no planting explosives or even a first shot advantage to cloaks. I am betting cloaks will be useful for escaping situations and moving hidden around the battlefield but not particularly useful in combat.
Heavies are getting damage resistances, explosive resistances, and nerfs to all the other weapons except MD (see the explosive resistance for why that doesn't matter so much to Sentinels)

They can wing Derpships and scare Tanks.
They were so overpowered the players banned them....
1.8 they will be more powerful than ever.
