because logic.
dev blogs are being released in the "Weeks" leading up to 1.8
-this statement has been made by blues several times meaning their dev blog release schedual crosses over multiple weeks in terms of timeline.
1.8 will be released on a tuesday
-because all of the releases are
Patch notes will be released about 1 week before release
-becuase thats CCPs new thing
there are 3 tuesdays left int he month 11th, 18th and 25th
- we can rule out the 11th because its too soon
- we can rule out the 18th because the likely hood of us getting the remaining dev blogs and patch notes by or around the 11th is pretty slim
1.8 is going to be released on the 25th, CCP wont publicly announce it yet because they are still unsure of weather they can meet that deadline (only reason to hang back on telling us the date)
this means that the 25th is the absolute earlyest we will recieve 1.8 and there is a chance it could be delayed untill the 1st.
now stop freaking out wondering when 1.8 is being released because by all the logic i can throw at it this is the most likely scenario at an 80% chance of being correct. |

After Uprisings release the forums were a bad place, I'll never forget how CCP screwed up so badly.

Could easily be the 18th. Dev blogs often arrive in clusters as the content gets locked, a couple more between now and the 11th wouldn't be unusual.
Also the 18th would be a 'kewl date' for 1.8. And we know CCP like their kewl dates.
I'd say about 40% chance 18th, 40% chance 25th, 20% chance some other date. |

its just that knowing CCP, it would be very hard for them to push all of this stuff out in the 2 weeks we have untill the 18th.
it would also mean that either all of the dev blogs are realsed in 1 week (goes against blue posts) OR we will end up recieving dev blogs AFTER the patch notes wich seems like its pushing it in terms of likelyhood.
there is still a chance, i just give it the 20% chance rather then your 40% :P |

Sony has been slow with certs lately. whenever ccp submits the patch it'll take at least a week. And they don't do weekends so the 11th hmm only if its already submitted the 18th maybe if it gets submitted by Monday. So its a good chance its the 25th.
