As someone who spends more time chatting in dust than i do playing the dam game, iv decided i want to promote are little community to CCP a little more to try and encourage more of it. so i figured the best way to do this is gather voices on how they feel RP and fiction is handled within dust at the moment and what you would like to see.
myself: in game i would really really like some sort of social space i could either buy (like a bar) that people could hang out in while they wait for PC matches or just to chill out in-between sessions.
i would also love some fiction based Events as Cal Prime really boosted the RP aspect of Dust and i know many of us old timers have written that event into our stories.

I regulary bug saberwing and falcon on these issues so they know we exsists. I just feel very powerless to do anything as we have no way of doing things in dust. Unlike EvE where its crazy easy to pull events together.
Might ask what it would take to get special contract matches set up just for Rp stuff, like on base meeting that gets ambushed etc.

A news feed would ne good but even the EvE guys have noticed a lack of activty. ... I will grab hold of guard later :-P and tell him FLUFF

They did it over 10 yeara with a vastly bigger communty than what we have. I agree we need to promote Rp but members of communty have been very hostile to anyone trying to get into it because the qulaty is bad or they dont fully get the lore.
So our little conmunty needs to be far more tollrent of new starters until we get our numbers up again.
And that invloves showing people where they went wrong rather than just ripping on them.
Maybe a new commers subsection?

How do you guys see players fleshing out the lore. At event are witness or actors?

Sorry had to type quickly. Players take part in a event but have influance on the outcome. Usefull for natartive and world building.
Or player actions have a strong impact on world events. Adds greater depth and deeper player involvement....but really hard to manage
