I used the MLT FG as my heavy weapon the entire event, and I may have missed a few heavy kill that I got with grenades or sidearms. Not sure about the bonus ISK earned for heavy kills, as I did not record suit tech levels. Kills with a Heavy Weapon: 133 Heavy Kills: 22 Bonus SP earned: 71,750 I earned a little less than 10% of the available SP cap. I'm curious to see how far anyone else made it. I'm sure HMG users faired quite better than I did. How'd everyone else fair, if you know? Now is the winter of our non-content. Ghosts Chance's hero for 3/1/14.

So it should just about cover the SPs I invested into the HMG after the first week of the event, because the HMG is just so damn amusing. Knowledge is power
CLONE117 True Pros Forever 711	Posted - 2014.03.05 03:27:00 - [5] - Quote it was a little hard for me running my hmg heavy. i can hold my own in a thick firefight but only for so long if im getting shot at by rrs or crs out in the open im not gonna last long. then there were the tanks. my own team ignoring them getting slaughtered by rr fg and some tanks. ive been forced to run my rail tanks just to deal with all of this stuff. mainly on the more open maps. in more closed maps ill slaughter wit hmg so long as my own team has a foot hold with in the cqc urban terrain.

Here's the sad thing: I fell out of love with the Boundless HMG during the event. Started using Assault and Burst for *** n' giggles, and now it's Burst all the way for me now. And I haven't really used the normal FG in months. I strictly run Kaalakiota AFG. So I have no idea what I'll do with my 300 proto heavy weapons. Killed a lot of heavies though so I'm probably pretty close to the event cap. I'm getting at least half a million bonus SP so I won't complain. Mail me in game if interested in learning about the Amarr Empire and serving them in Faction Warfare. Amarr Victor!

Glad to see I'm not the only one that hit the cap. I slacked off a bunch the first week though, so I had to play like a solid 6ish hours straight today. But I cleared 1,500 HMG/FG kills (mostly HMG of course), with around 200 heavies killed (but that number could be way off). I am crossing my fingers that I capped it since I really did not keep any actual count either way I know I got close and really enjoyed the event. I never ran the HMG before this event and went ahead and went to Prof 3 on the HMG for this so props to CCP on this one, they got their data for balancing and I got some new enjoyment in the game.

I combined the kills i got on heavies with my kills i got with the hmg. these are the confirmed kills I got during the event, i'm not sure how many tank pilots had heavy suits, or how many kills I got on heavies with grenades and or I just didn't keep track of. also the first day of the event I didn't keep track of my kills on heavies at all.

Getting rewarded for helping capture or defend objectives would be cool, but we don't even have normal WP in the game for doing that right now. I doubt CCP would add that feature just for an event. And that's kinda what I mean about limited resources; new features require time and effort to be put in. They can't just add in everything they want at once. Tanking damage would be waaaaaay too easy to farm. Not just a laymen, but the laymen. Winn Summ and lose Summ.

That was to be expected though, as I limited myself to only the forge gun (I used the Mauler fits I got from both the Newsletter and the $5 Tactical Pack sale during the holidays. Out of my original 125, only 40 remain). I paid a price not to stain my hands with rust, and that price was 678k SP. Now is the winter of our non-content. Ghosts Chance's hero for 3/1/14.
