Hi fellow Dust bunnies!
Having played Dust since launch, I became disenchanted with the long wait between 1.7 and 1.8... or 2.0... or whatever the hell is coming next.
So I dusted off the PC and booted up the free-to-play Planetside 2 (on PC... coming soon to PS4, incidentally).
So... if you want to kick back and stretch your legs in a different shooter while waiting for Dust to progress... or if you just want to check out something else... come join me!
I play with the "DaPP" outfit (Da Party Poopers), for the "Vanu" race on the Mattherson (US East) server. I play under the username NightbirdAeon. Send me a mail in game and come run with DaPP!

It says its minimum wattage spec is 300 watts. My PC has that. However, My current GPU (its an integrated GPU, just in case that matters) needs 40 watts, and this new one needs 55.
Otherwise, its a total stock HP Pavillion.
Does the 15 watts matter?

Yeah, when I got a new Graphics card... the problem wasn't the Watts.
Older PSUs may have enough watts to support a new card.... however, they also supply energy through various channels (the 5v channel, 12v channel, etc).
My problem was that my PSU pushed 18A through the 12V channel, while the minimum spec for the new GPU was at least 20A through the 12V channel.
Long story short... a 600-700W PSU should do the trick... you can probably find a decent one for 60-80 USD (or equivalent local currency).

Yeah, if the Light Assault troopers are tossing smoke, it can be a serious pain. Usually good though, as smoke protects from snipers.
There is a scope upgrade for most guns that uses Infra-red type vision... so you effectively get a night-vision scope that sees equally well through smoke.
