I hurt some scrub's sense of self worth and he came back and said he wants to 'Thunderdome' me.
What does that mean? I recognize that I'm out of touch and not hip to you kids and your slang. Is it like when everyone back in the day wrote that 'All your base' line from Zero Wing after everything to look cool?
Or what?

I believe it's a reference to the post-apocalyptic Mel Gibson / Tina Turner movie Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome.
Apparently your new friend wants to 1 vs 1 you in a caged deathmatch with no rules.
I don't think I would consider a Thunderdome reference "hip to the kids" since it was released in 1985.

I believe its originated from the Mad Max movie. There were some guys awhile back who had been using corp battles or PC battles to arrange a kind of arena type mode. Everyone would watch while to guys would duke it out.
To me if he challenged you to Thunderdome then its like an honor duel. He feels slighted yo he wishes to best you in 1v1 to regain his honor |

There is also a "thunderdome" planet in PC that is in a constant state of war, and many many referances in EvE
The answer is "ForgeGun"... doesnt matter what the question is...

I guess I should have expected that it would be something lame like that, though.
And to the player who called me a liar (Jaysyn Larrisen). Are you bitter that you never served, and that's why all the vitriol/
We got to do some really awesome stuff, but if you'd like to hear about us having to hold a car wash just so our unit could afford to buy toilet paper, I've got a bunch of stories about that as well...
I was in for 2 years. 20 years ago. Go find one of those players you referrenced to 'call me out', I'm feeling nostalgic and would love the chance to talk about the Good ol Days with someone who can relate.
