In ambush,isn't it awfully convenient that smart deploy drops you right infront of enemy vehicles and infantry?
Seeing as at the last fanfest CCP stated they wanted more "isk sinks",like FW has become...
I personally have seen loads of Pro/Adv,etc. lost because of smart deploy.
So i believe it's current "broken" behavior is exactly what CCP was shooting for.
Auto aim and bullet magnetism,intentional for the same reason as above.
This also accounts for being killed while safely in cover,and bullets bending around corners.
As well as the slowdown from being hit.
CCP realised that most players would figure out ambush was a trap,made to make you lose isk.
So they added other functions,under the guise of improving hit detection.
Now there is no mode safe from "broken" mechanics making them all isk sinks (generally speaking).
So,once again instead of just letting the game take its own natural course CCP is intervening to force it to go their way.
IMHO forced action isn't as fun as natural action.
Only users lose drugs.

Why would you ever smart deploy into a battle using PRO/ADV?... Are you bad or just lazy?
Change to STD with drop uplink, establish position, stop sucking. |

It's very apparent how much players lost faith in CCP when they're making conspiracy theories like these.
Shield regeneration bonus for Gallente Assault is about as useful as Sharpshooter for Nova Knives.

Hey i'm only saying what CCP stated.
Then looking at the forums.
2+2=Players mainly die from forces beyond their control.
Conclusion? CCP dun eet!
