My time in South Korea is going incredibly well, however, as with any experience of immersing oneself in a culture there are going to be things that come up which are contrary to your normal routines and comforts. Little culture shocks. Toilets and bathrooms can be one of those things for many foreign travelers. For instance, if you come to Seoul you may see trash bins next to the toilets. These are there for you to place your used toilet paper into as the toilets and plumbing are often not equiped to handle the load of thicker waste and may back up if clogged.
I leiu of this experience I am writing a gameplay challenge.
Don't Throw Rubbish in the Toilet Objective: Within a random skirmish or domination based match find a hazzard based socket that allows you to jump in for a falling death suicide. Toss your dropsuit into the hole, rather than send it to swirling "toilet" of a combat zone. "Properly" dispose of as many dropsuits as you can in a single match. Note: Only Prototype teir (includes prototype pre-fitted suits) count Reward: 4 Tickets per Prototype suit disposed of in the proper receptical. Bonus Reward: The submission with highest disposal count receives an additional 40 tickets Claim: Valid Claims only by uninterrupted video.

I'd need to see that to judge the value of dumping that many protosuits :p Certainly. Here is the current breakdown of rewards to 1st and runner up position.

Tempting.
Per match? Or can I string videos together? Apparently I can't read today.
EDIT: It might be that I'm incredibly sleepy, but I'm seriously considering destroying over four hundred suits for this... Yes, it's only the number of suits you can destroy in a single match. I will sweeten the deal by boosting the best in show prize to 200 tickets. How does that sound?

I should probably stipulate that this challenge can only be played in public contract matches, not PC. That means the video submission must also include a capture of the team roster.

With this challenge all I need to see is that you spawn in with a protosuit (which is easily identifiable from a 3rd person perspective) and proceed to suicide yourself in a pit or other map hazzard zone.

We have two people in FA with capture cards I believe, I'll ask one of them. Awesome! If you can trust your corp mates there are other challenges that you may be able to breeze through with clever teamwork and some preparation. Such as this one.

***[Now Guilt Free!!!] Uber Medic Challenge: Gotta catch em' all***

(Got a lot of gk.0 to burn)
I must to be able to identify that you are spawning in with a valid prototype fit.
-This can either be shown by naming and favoriting a fit that is visibly proto class. -Seeing the colors of the suit also helps when in match.
Include a photo of the teams at the beginning of the match and at the end of match screens.
-Include your end score here as well.
Make an effort to record all of your suicides.
-This means that if a device stops less the 3/4ths of the way through the match I will not validate the footage. For this reason, you may want to enlist the help of someone with a capture card.

I crunched some initial payout numbers for the film assistance initiative program. These ticket values are based on the ticket value of the challenge the player you are filming is working to attain.
*Beyond 0 tickets = 50% of challenge payout At or beyond 21 tickets = 35% - - At or beyond 101 tickets =15% - - At or beyond 301 tickets =10% - -
Say if Jerrmy12 beat your (Lorhak) figure by 1 suit while filming him, you'd gain 34 tickets (33.6 rounded up) for filming the challenge, plus one film token applied to your character.

Joseph Ridgeson wrote:You may want to edit the amount of this challenge or the others. This one is pretty much a "win this, win the lottery." It devalues the other challenges greatly. I mean, even the truly insane ones like biomassing yourself won't stack up to killing 60+ prototype suits. That's 440 tickets, assuming winning Best in Show.
Eager to see the 55 suit burned. Could you also give a video of some of the more fanciful hate mail you got? While this is a valid concern due to the high amount of tickets offered, it does not break the lottery. The high value encourages more entries with more opprotunity for wider destructive potential. I would advise practice first with militia suits, however, if you knew you had the ability to ruin 60 suits it would cost a player 3,497,400 million ISK to purchase 60 prototype suits (57,690 ISK per unit) and 60 militia grade weapons to validate each suit. It's a complex game of measuring the various risk to reward quotients available to you in a given time period.
440 tickets isn't particularly big in the grand scheme of this design, if people are willing to take it there that is.
Additionally, the Biomass Yourself Challenge may far larger than you imagine. Here is a payout chart for that challenge. Each tier corresponds to 3 levels respectively. As you can see, levels build on an exponential scale between tiers. These tickets become insanely high as you move into levels beyond 30, these characters are far more valuable to the players that have built them through sweat, triumph and tears over the past year and a half since the relese of open beta.
Payout Scale
(1, 2, 4) [ Levels 1-3 (8, 12, 16) [ Levels 4-6 (24, 32, 40) [ Levels 7-9 (56, 72, 88) [Levels 10-12 (120, 152, 184) [ Levels 13-15 (248, 312, 376) [ Levels 16-18 (504, 632, 760) [ Levels 19-21 (1016, 1272, 1528) [ Levels 22-24 (2040, 2552, 3064) [ Levels 25-27 (4088, 5112, 6136) [ Levels 28-30 (8184, 10232, 12280) [ Levels 31-33 (16376, 20472, 24568) [ Levels 34-35 (32760, 40952, 49144) [ Levels 36-38 (65528, 81912, 98296) [ Levels 39-41 and so on.
