balance doesnt really matter when half of the content still is missing.
Don't get me wrong, balance is an important factor but the whole last year was balancing back and forth, wasting huge amounts of time only to finally introduce rail and combat rifles to **** up the balance again.
Same thing with vehicles, whole new rebalance of everything and we dont even have all racial tanks, not to memtion all racial dropships and i won't even start with fighters, mtacs, mav and speeders.
I don't wanna say CCP is stupid, because I'm no developer myself, but how can you build up a bookshelf when half of the wood isn't even cut from the trees? Doesn't seem logical to me.
Good to see the cpms come to life again to promise the community how awesome evrything is gonna get in the future but let's be real: If you have a great product in your hands and you develop great new stuff you wanna show and tease. Thats how this industry works:setting up a hype. Because if people get hyped they wanna spend their money on the awesome looking product.
That there is again a huge lack of sneak peaks, dev blogs or stuff like this, and all we got to see are some stats which already look broken just from what we can see this all does not look like something big is going to arrive.
Sorry to be this pessimistic, but thats just the way it goes.
Ccp wasted alot of time and unfortunately it looks like they won't learn from mistakes from the past (again).
I see alot of diehard fans leaving the game already, and even myself who I denied to play anything else than Dust for over a year, I'm only playing bf4 which is only half the fun what dust COULD be, but in the stage dust is in atm i prefer bf4 a million times over this.
I love this game, I love the idea, which you can also see in my bank account, and no, i don't **** you when I say I spent way more than 300 bucks on this game. But if you manage to push people who are willing to pay those huge amounts of money away from your game you seriously have a big problem.
Lets see (again) what the glorious promised future of new eden will bring to us, or will it just be another soon(tm)?
