How's the laser for ammo consumption? I played with it a little a while back and I seemed to run out of ammo much more than I do with AR etc, probably because engagement ranges are relatively long. |

Exactly my worry. Laser+Amarr assault sounds appealing but I <3 my scanner. Laser's not really viable on most logis either as you really need the sidearm, though Amarr logi might work. |

Well, in my opinion, you should only be engaging in long range anyway, so the scanner is less important. And im sure that by now you know how much of a crutch the scanners are. Considering there getting uber nerfed next build I would start getting off of them if I were you.
I've been playing HMG heavy for two weeks, so I'm starting to get a feel for life without a scanner. But still tempted by a 1.8 nerf-busting dual scanner Gallente logi fit  |

The ASR is supposed to be a cheap knock off of Gallente tech. It's not the best weapon, but a hell of a lot better than the tactical, breach or burst ARs, which are what it should be compared with. |
