I can't think of a single mmo ever created that doesn't maintain a population with haves and have nots.
no game where the older players have serious overwhelming advantages over new players, they may not be pitted against each other on regular basis, but if you ever attempt to pvp in those games you'll find out about that advantage first hand pretty quickly.
my suggestion....just play the game and stop concerning yourself with other players. I been running pubs for two weeks now in a 15k miltia heavy suit, and been turning over tons of isk and getting pretty decent kill scores. isk means **** you don't need alot of it currently. 450HP Starter Fit =/= 900+HP Proto Fit.
With the ridiculous amount of Money, Pubstompers can just spam Boundless's and Kaalkalatia's and Duovalle's with Their 900+ Assault suit constantly with no consequents besides lolISK loss.
Because you Wanted to be Something your Not.

With the ridiculous amount of Money, Pubstompers can just spam Boundless's and Kaalkalatia's and Duovalle's with Their 900+ Assault suit constantly with no consequents besides lolISK loss. fun fact, when you shoot someone in the back of the head 900 ehp means **** all. fun fact number 2, 900 ehp means **** to a remote explosive. fun fact i can get over 900 ehp in my standard heavy suit. fun fact, 6 guys in one squad can drop 900ehp in less then a second. fun fact it's possible to kill players even when you have worse guns and less hp. numbers aren't the only factors on the battle field. fun fact, EVERYBODY carries a Active Scanner.
fun fact 2, Your standard Heavy doesn't go at slightly below assault speed. And it cant fit proto guns without sacrificing tank.
fun fact 3, When was the last time you say 6 people all shoot at the same person? Most is probably 3, maybe 4.
fun fact, hiding behind fun facts makes you look like a ****.
Hard Truth. Protostomping is due in large part to the fact that the game is statistically imbalanced heavily to the older players to the point that one older player in prototype can be shot twice as much as a new player in militia, and kill said player faster, and have several utility slots.
And, due to the well-known occurrence of District Locking, and ISK funneling, This statistical imbalance is shown constantly throughout the public matches. People just don't get killed in ProtoGear and go "Lets pull another one!" unless they have WAY too much ISK then they know what to do with. Which can be assumed that it is coming from corps, because even running standard only, you usually only get 150-200K a match-Fittings used. Each Standard fitting, on average, costs about 10K, and the average player usually dies between 5 and 10 times a match. Do the math.
While I have no doubt many corps DON'T give ISK out like candy, I am certain MANY do. I don't just perma kill 3 Proto Sentinels and have him pull more, and it happens he is just REALLY good with money.
